Perfect platinum looked AMAZE BALLS! I color with Igora 12.19. It gives me a perfect shade of blonde - no toning is required , it blondes and colors in one step! It gives me a perfect color - kind of very muted gorgeous blonde. You know what I’m not platinum anymore but I have a gorgeous healthy hair level 9, that I’m proud to touch and that is strong and longer every day. So I’m glad there are toners out there and I’m glad that there are other shades out there than “Snow White void of color blonde”. Good job

I tried that 2nd combo with 9t matched my natural regrowth so well truly thank u my roots r now longer then my ends ready 4 all my natural color back been growing hair a year n its about chin length roots n bleached ends i did get trims to help bleached my hole head regreted it after my roots got so long n i didnt wanna dye or proccess my hair just wanted it natural again that combo blended so beautiful with my hair ive always described as a silver dirty blonde n took my chances yesterday only toned my bleach ends blended so flawlessly

I am so dependent on 9T mixed twitch clear or now 10T but with hair that is lifted more pale yellow (as you mentioned u wished u had lightened ur mannequin more because all those formulas were so well done but would have looked even more different on a lighter start out base! Thank goodness I found you-a Redken lover! I have tried every gloss but nothing compares to Shades!

You're so welcome! I'm also addicted to the T's! I use them every single day but you may need to lighten your ends a little more. I've noticed my blondes come in more yellow as time goes on and I think it has to do with hard water and other environmental elements effecting your color. A bleach wash is super easy to do if you want to brighten them. You mix 1 part lightener with 1 part shampoo and 1 part 20 volume developer. Leave it on for 5 minutes just on the ends and it will brighten them and remove all of the build up!

I absolutely LOVE the Smokey Silver!! :). I currently have platinum hair by using Wella T18. It is substantially lighter than the model’s hair. Would I need. to use a protein filler prior to colouring my hair to achieve this look? Any advice you could offer would be sincerely appreciated. My hair needs a break from the 30 developer I currently use. Lol…thanks gain for such a great video! 🙂💕

Ive been letting my natural gray hair grow out. The back is a really nice gunmetal silvery gray, about 3” now but my crown is more white that I’m not really liking it. I’m Italian, so it’s making me looked washed out. I’d like to tone it to more of a silvery color. I currently have Shades EQ 9T, but I think I mixed it wrong because it turned my hair too grey. Can you recommend in “ounces” what ratio I should use that would just give the crown some silvery or light gray color? Also, I don’t want to bleach my hair in the back, but I still have this blah light brown shade. Is there a way to get that more gray so it would blend better with the gray roots, until I can cut it all off eventually. Maybe a purple shampoo? Thanks Danielle!

OMG I just discovered you on you tube the other day while I was searching info on the Redken Shades EQ line. I've watched several of your videos and I have learned so much. Just finished this one about your winter color line that you developed and I loved it. My favorite was the Cream Soda and the Pretty Platinum and even though I'm not a fan of Red hair, I really liked the Blush Rose too! But I do have a question I'd like to find an answer to. I'm a little confused about the letter codes in their line. Ex: does B stand for Beige or Blue? Or does it depend on whether it's the first letter or second? And I got a bottle of 9 M but have no idea what the "M" stands for. Can you give me a list or tell me where I can find one? Thank you. Keep doing your videos. I enjoy them. You are very good with explaining and demonstrating. I'm guessing you are teaching classes at times now. If not, you should. Thank you.

Cream soda or perfect platinum is fab. I'm trying to reach that result using a base breaker formula to level 5/6 hair. Wanna cease getting full highlights for a while, give my hair a break... Dunno how to achieve it tho...
