It was the most hilarious, ridiculous, most absurd, crazy scene ever. And it wasn't supposed to be. It was fake, dumb, took away the seriousness of the characters, and I laughed all the way through it, wondering how it was included in the film. The facial expressions alone were the epitome of stupidity. If it was SUPPOSED to be all that, then it succeeded in its cartoonish, AIRPLANE Leslie Nielson-type silliness.
