Danny, you are now my official golf guru. After not playing for almost 15 years, and staring back,, I was shooting in the high 90's (at my best I was an 11 handicapper)-- today, thanks to you, I shot 4 over on the front, something I haven't done in 20 years! I owe 99% of it to you. Thanks for your phenomenal lessons! (FYI, I 'lost it' on the back nine, shooting 14 over, which made it 'bogey golf'... my old back couldn't take it!

I’ve been working on my draw for months. I watched your lesson and immediately went out to the range. Absolutely amazing! The key for me was lining up right (R handed) which I would never dare to do, because -duh- my slice ends up over there AND having confidence that I could shape it to the left. This allowed me to do EXACTLY what you were saying, work the fade and then manage between the two to hit it straight. Will continue to work on this to get it ingrained! Truly a breakthrough to be able to dial it back and forth which increases the confidence! Thank you for your energy and your very thoughtful explanations!

I've never played on a Golf Course.. and at 70 with chronic Arthritis in my spine It's doubtful I ever will.😊 But I do get to play at TPC Sawgrass or St Andrews; without ever leaving my living room, through the wonder of Virtual Reality. I have had to learn everything, starting with how to hold a club..☺️ My game has improved no end since I discovered your video's. Everything you teach has application in VR Golf. I can now reliably move a shot from left to right, which frankly seems little short of miraculous. Thank You! ❤

I've been paying special attention to your recent videos on how to turn the hips to create a good arc to hit well. This has always been a challenge. I've been playing seriously now for 2 years and at 62, I thought turning as you taught was going to be difficult. It isn't. I was at the range today for the first time this season and incorporated your teaching in my shots and it worked wonderfully! My hitting just improved big time thanks to your clear teaching Danny! I even managed to hit fades and draws; some of the intentionally as well:) can't wait for my first round of the season.

G'day Danny, My wife had a book by Beverley Lewis "Golf for Women". Beverley made no assumptions about the beginner's knowledge so every instruction was included. In the book. Shaping shots was explained quite simply, I used this method successfully and showed a few guys what to do. Recently I found Greg Norman used the same method. Beverley Lewis' book was published in the 1990's. Beverley was for a while head of the PGA unfortunately she died in 2019. I have found a copy of the book on Amazon.

Thank You so much for presenting this video! Seems this should be a very early lesson to learn. Many times I struggle with wondering where the heck the ball is going to go. You brilliantly emphasized, "having fun" with practicing. Sometimes it's hard to believe, but that's what it's all about. Never thought I'd see the day that I'd have to think about hitting a fade. Your video lessons, on making a proper turn, have changed my golf shots into mostly draws (and sometimes a little too much draw) which I have tried to accomplish for 40+ years. Have an excellent week. Cheers!

@@DanielMaude complete revaluation.i always tried to adjust my stance before with mixed success, but opening and closing the club face along with the club plane really makes shaping the ball flight far more effective.i just need to get used to fine tuning the amount of fade and draw I want now.took away all the concerns of trying to hit the ball straight at the flag, this allows me to pick a apex for the ball flight and let the ball come back in towards the target.cant wait to get back out at the weekend for a few more rounds to try and zero in more on the technique.and I will have my new custom fitted p790 irons too hopefully help 🤞

Always a gentleman and a scholar! I was just trying to mess around with this. It is super hard right now, we still have nets up, hard to see what is actually happening and on the course makes it harder to really trust the shot if you don’t know exactly where it’s going to go. Last night on the range I was finally able to get some extra pop in my shot, people around could hear it and got some looks, that was really encouraging. I’m super excited to take this next step and as always love the information and detail.

Danny, I wanted to share with you that since I’ve been working with you over the past two years, my index has decreased from 17.1 to 11.7. This past weekend, I played in a nine hole match tournament with six teams per flight over 45 holes. My partner and I won all five matches and ended up with 11 points. That was the largest margin of victory of all eight flights. Unfortunately, after two days and 45 holes, I was exhausted and did not do well in the horse race. But I won a bunch of money and I got a trophy. Thanks Danny.

See it, feel it, trust it....great video Danny on a great basics of ball striking lesson. I laughed when you challenged us to curve it on purpose. Good days - straight to fade, bad days - fade to banana slice. I have to say, it is more of the former these days and less of the latter. I have purposed to spend more time on working this plan - what does it feel like to hit it too far left. Okay, once that happens now what do I need to adjust to move it more back to center. It has really helped to quietly talk through the shot and then repeat the phrase "see the shot, feel the shot (which is what you are talking here), then trust the shot (i.e. that your muscle memory takes over)....

What a fantastic video Danny. I really feel that you have improved my understanding of the golf shot over the last few months. Got a tee time for Monday; let’s see if I can put any of it into practice. Actually looking forward to spending time on the range as well to try and become more consistent!

You are excellent Danny. Soon as the golf range opens up I have to work on this. Excellent demonstration. Who knows I might break 90 this year.

Okay Danny. I’m going to have to do something about changing my Saturday mornings. At the moment it’s wake up, make a cuppa, iPad out, earphones in, watch KZbin until the Danny Maude notification ping to go off, watch video and learn something really enlightening. I know it might sound like a perfect start to the weekend, but it’s going to have to end. Scrap that - Okay, I’ll stick with it for a while. Why change a perfect Saturday morning?! Thanks Danny. You’ve shown me the way.

This video has really helped, i had tried to apply this at the driving range the day after I seen it. It was the first day that i had that light bulb moment and things clicking! Thank you so much for this information.
