Hi Danny, greetings from Australia. I am a hatch golfer :) playing off a 29 to 30 handicap. The biggest problem with my game, like many players I assume, is consistency. I've had several lessons with mixed results before I came across your fabulous videos. To be honest I have learnt more from your videos then my numerious face to face lessons! I have watched dozens of different tutorials on the net most of which I find FAR to technical. Your lessons on the other hand are in a language and style that are better suited to the average player more importantly though the tips provided are much easier to put into practice and work on. My New Years resolution is to bring my handicap down into the low twenties through a process of more practice, patience and by watching your videos! :)

I enjoy your weekly tutorials and try to put them into practice at the range, but this lesson with Liam takes your ‘swing mantra’ to another instructional level, well done, clear and concise. Watching a Golfmate get the lesson without being all about him is fantastic, now please invite Mr Barlow/Captain Slice for a lesson, and let’s see your true genius

Danny you’re a genius! Best golf coach on KZbin, hands down! Relating it to other sports and athletic movements is so obvious, but so brilliant! Learning so much and it’s so helpful for someone like me who lives in a small town with no access to golf coaching. Just started playing again after 25+ years away from the game. Am now in my mid 50s, very inflexible, and topping everything! 😳😱 Hopefully your videos can help me 👍🏼😁

Great stuff Danny, I was watching one of your vids recently where you suggested walking on the spot while lifting your heels and swinging your arms. Didn’t reply at the time as I wanted to try it. I hadn’t realized how stiff and mechanical my swing was. My swing is now much more relaxed , my swing path has naturally corrected itself and I’m releasing the club much better than before. Game changer! I still have problems but I’m a much happier golfer. Definitely the best instructor on KZbin 👍

I’ve had the same problem since I started playing golf again, last year, and have found nothing can fix my slice. I’ve recently been losing distance, down to about 210-220 with my driver. I originally had a big slice, then I tightened my left hand grip and started hooking. I think I’ve gotten so much into the mechanics that I’ve forgotten to ‘move’ and am now all arms. This video has provided some great ideas to visualise the shot and body movement. Something to work on over the winter. Thanks Danny. I’ve now subscribed so I don’t miss any more and I’m going to work my way through your previous videos for other ‘nuggets’

Subbed. Even as a low handicap player whos been on the course for 33 years..... watching your lessons with beginners, and your simple way of visualizing shot shapes (soccer/tennis/ect) is something every skill level can appreciate and learn from. As a multi sport athlete just the visualization of creating the desired ball flight and letting your instincts take over and FEELING it happen has helped me with shaping the driver in recent practice sessions. Love your style and way of explaining things.

Nice to see these one-on-one lessons with YT personality Liam in that we have a little knowledge of his previous swing shape etc. from the Golf Mates videos. So how you go about helping him develop his draw should resonate with us. The fact that he is pulling them low and left as he explores the " draw family" numbers shows that although not an easy fix, something is definitely happening. The football analogy is genius, I found in my long past playing days an outswinger for a right footed player was easier to accomplish than an inswinger - it seems this is true in golf also, hence my tendency to slice which is a more "comfortable" shot. More like this please, Danny.
