ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On KZbin and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.
I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
We look at 3 things:
1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

hello Danny - been watching your vids for a while now. out of all the excellent instructors on youtube, you come across very sincere and humble, and kind. I enjoy your simple and to the point discussion on the various techniques and advice on how to play certain lies. As a high handicapper, the "don't follow a bad shot with a bad decision" is a great reminder as sometimes i think i need to make some herculean shot after a poor one to make up for it. I am learning to avoid trouble instead of just focusing on getting on the green. keep up the great work! thank you! respectfully, nick

I know I am 2 months late to this video but I am on my path to Break 90. Your instructional videos are the primary reason I am able to do so. I will admit I do not practice enough (I am working on that), but in the last 12 months I went from a baseline of a 36.4 handicap to a 21.9. At 57 years old, because of the positive encouragement you provide along with easy to use drills and instructions, I expect to be closer to a 14 handicap by the time I am 58. The key I have found is to keep it simple. Work on one aspect at a time until I improve on the course then change to the next item to improve, keep mixing it up with incremental improvements over the entire game. Next, be honest with myself on the course. No foot wedge improved lies, no mulligans. Finally, since I am not being paid to play golf and instead am paying, I MUST have fun! The Serenity of a quiet golf course, the camaraderie of friends having fun on the course, and letting myself be a “kid” again makes it fun. Thank you so much. Glad you are blessed to be able to play rounds with your dad! That’s awesome.

The tip on not taking rescue or hybrid from the rough or poor lies has been the best for me. You assume these are the clubs to get you back in play. I now trust the PW or 9 is the sensible and safe option. Great to have these family connections on the golf course. I was introduced to golf by my Grandad, who’s sadly no longer with me, I’m still using his bag and some of his equipment for sentimental reasons and so he’s with me around the courses I play.

Danny you are a genius. Tried 4of your 5 tips(can’t afford no.5 😜) and for a 75 year old it was a new experience! “Throwing the hammer” I now see it! Thanks very much❤

This was very heart warming to watch. Had a tear in my eye when you gave Dad those new clubs. My Dad once had a couple of rounds with Peter Aliss. He loved the game but he never managed to become a decent handicap. I was late to the game myself and would love to have played a round with my Dad but he died of cancer before I got the chance. Anyone who has a healthy father and son relationship such as yours is the strongest evidence of integrity and honesty in an internet world that is becoming ever more fake. New subscriber.

Enjoy following your coaching and tips (as a lockdown golfer and senior who has only been playing since last summer). The tip I will take to the course is to not follow a bad shot with a poor decision...it is so simple. Keep up the good work.

Daryl Oldham: For me, without a doubt the bunker tip is the best tip ever for lowering my score. It is so simple, “just hit the sand out”. I will hear you say that every time I play out of the bunker. That’s now my swing thought! Thank you Danny.

I have been following you for about 6 months and you have saved me about 8 strokes. I had not played in 15 years and recently started back at 66 years young. Your simplified approach to teaching is something I wish I would of had as a teenager. Thank you for making golf fun again!

All the tips are gems. I’ve been watching your videos since I started learning golf just over two years ago and they have made my learning curve accelerate. I also love seeing you work with your dad and wife. Thank you for the feeling verses just mechanical movements. If I ever get to the UK, I’ll make a point to look you up and get an in person lesson.

I play golf with my son who is 34. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than playing a round of golf with him even though I get pasted every time. My dad, God bless him, never played golf, though he encouraged me. I can only imagine the sheer pleasure of the three of us playing had he been a golfer. Great video Danny. Thanks
