This might be my favorite Naroditsky video so far. The talk about rooting out the dark bishop and using a5 pawn weakness to hold down black so that white can maneuver on the other side of the board was very instructive! I’m a 1600 player and this is something I have not thought about.

I just wanted to thank you for putting out all these incredible videos. As a ~2000 player, it's hard to find good instructional content geared toward players around my level (i.e. not GMs but also not beginners). These high level speedrun analyses are absolute gold -- I learn so many new things in each one. I know you mentioned feeling burnout recently, and you should take things at your own pace. Your old videos are already enough for me to spend years studying. But your analysis just keeps improving, so I'm always excited when you do put out a new speedrun video or opening lab. opponent played amazingly well. My lichess stockfish said prep until move 15 or thereabouts. Danya made a slight error with the first king move, but it worked out beautifully anyway. Great game

Very instructive and encouraging that these rook endgames are even too complex for super GMs. One key note I took from this is to NEVER play the Belgrade Gambit, it's just way too deep theory for a occasional player to learn, so below 2200 level I suggest to avoid it.

Hey Danya, What is your recommendation against players who play the Bowlder attack with d4? Face it a lot and struggle since it often transposes into a Taimanov type setup if I play the recommended e6 which is a position I am very uncomfortable in as black

virtually no risk, that's attractive but that double rook ending was less than sexy, if you know what I mean: If it were an otb game you could spend five hours just thinking about anything you like, and still collect a full point! However, I don't know that many chess players to whom you could sell that idea. Most of them - if you ask me - are adrenaline junkies. It's a rare breed that will collect a full point without taking risks.

Um, this question is for GM Naroditsky and chat: Normally a bad Bishop is caused by placing your pawns on the same colour as your Bishop... however I also believe that a bad Bishop can also be caused by the opposition skillfully causing you to defend or attack in such a way that it causes you to obstruct your own Bishop and that a bad Bishop may also be caused by your opponent attacking squares along the diagonal thereby immobilized the Bishop. My question is where can I find examples of both cases? Which famous games, or your guyz' games, or Daniel's?

Hi Daniel: I've been watching your videos and have some requests / suggestions for possible future videos: 1) I'd love to see a KQ vs KR challenge video vs. the Chessbrahs - the contest being who can hold out the most number of moves before checkmate. 2) Similar endgame challenge videos vs GMs - choose a start position then see who does better (by some agreed upon criteria). And a post-match conversation would be fun as well. 3) Analysis of top engine games (e.g. from TCEC or CCC). Some people do this, such as Jozarov and GM Matthew Sadler, but I'd be fascinated to see how you approach commenting on these super high precision games. Hope you like my ideas.

@@musical_lolu4811 no ، I know how hard to get 2200 rating , but the game was nearly equal throughout the game and there wasn't actually any direct threats or attack , but he won because of a single mistake at the end of an equal endgame , I mean this 2200 player held the position nearly to the end against a person whose whole life was about chess , this is brutal and ridiculous And Don't misunderstand me , iam not critizing my best teacher GM Naroditsky , iam just critizing how chess sometimes seems not worthing wasting my time and money learning it
