​@@kharnthebetrayer1575 Magnus was offered redemption by The Emperor at the siege of Terra, but he did not accept because it would have meant abandoning his Legion, as Big E made it clear the offer was for him alone and that his sons were damned. Magnus refused to save himself because of his loyalty and affection for his sons - he would not have them face damnation alone without their father. This was long after he'd been soul-shattered so I think the whole shard thing is a bit more complicated than it first seems.

​​​@@kharnthebetrayer1575 it wasn't _all_ that was good about Magnus. The Noble Shard was put into Janus - first Grandmaster of the Grey Knights. His Shard of Wonder is on some seemingly dead world where it basically just sits about, both watching the universe with fascination, and meditating on the Warp. A few Marines came across him there, on accident, and tried to confront him _(They didn't know who he was, but he was a glowing man that was on a world without an atmosphere... with no protection on, at all. Just a robe. They thought he was a psyker, and he just up and teleported them, and their crashed ship, to the nearest Imperial world.)._ A couple more shards have appeared, randomly, to help characters in different stories as the years have gone by. Magnus was shattered into a _lot_ of fragments, and some of those have splintered even more over the millennia.

Well even khorne could not do it i think,i believe This because khorne did manage to give angron 3 weeks of peace where he calmed his mind and made the nails not active,he kept their effects at bay but ONLY temporarily,now if This was done on purpose or not i don't know,because the previous comments made a good point. But i think he could not remove them for good.

@ he literally dropped into a world full of rapey meth goblins and had to survive on rats and human flesh. He didn’t even have a “father figure”. Angron had a father figure whom he was forced to kill under the influence of the butchers nails. Angron had comrades in arms. Angron was willing to die with his brothers and sisters. Angron was bitter because that was stolen from him. Kurze didn’t even have that going for him. He was absolutely the worst off of all of the primarchs. Angron is just a bitter and sore loser.

I’m not saying angron isn’t a little bitch about his fate, but he was screwed within moments off landing on nuceria. At least curze was his own man, even if he was alone. You could argue curze doomed himself the moment he decided to kill that boy he caught instead of spare him. Conrad’s fate is almost entirely his own.

@ he was enslaved at first. It wasn’t until years later the nails were put in. Oh I agree he’s a tragic character. He very easily could’ve been an elite shock troop leader like Russ or Sanguinnius (yes I am aware I miss spelled the angels name). But instead he chose to rebel not because he even believed in Lupricals cause but because he just wanted to rebel against the emperor. Thats some general Hux level retardation. He could’ve taken the alternative one of his sons returned with that would’ve rendered the nails useless and restored Angrons mind to normalcy but he chose to destroy that cure forever so that he could still be an angry boi. He had every single chance to redeem himself right up to the battle of minarcia when everyone’s favorite zealot Lorgar stuck his dick in the Dairy Queen and perfected Angron into a fucking arch demon. Kurze was fucked from word go and did what he did for reasons of restoring law and order. He became a monster to save lives and to end the corruption. He, at the end of the day, was a tired old soul who only wanted to save others from his fate and was cursed from the very beginning to be insane. He fought against his darker side and when he gave in it was only because he feared what might happen if he tried to alter the future. (Granted a large part of that was the fear that if he could change fate he could change himself and thus all of his heinous acts would be rendered entirely his doing and not that of what fate willed him to do), but at least it’s something. I’d say that’s tragedy incarnate. Angron is a tragic character (who I can relate to having Bi polar myself and thus understand the effect of my own version of “butchers nails” pounding in my head). He suffered a lot and deserved way better than he got but Kurze is the schizophrenic who desperately wanted to be something more than he was. Angron just wanted to die with his brothers and be done with it and kill as many high riders as he could before he went under.

A fantastic fight and Lion new fighting style is such a beast of offense and defense that shield is quite fearsome to deal with and not cracking or breaking vs the Daemon Primarch Anagron the red angel Champion of Khorne

My many thanks, as always! and, I certainly plan to keep my 40k content up as my main thing but I do certainly recommend the world of the other works that I have covered, they all bring something unique to the table! Hopefully bringing some Warhammer Fantasy and AoS on too (as heretical as that is to some of the Warhammer community, some of those excerpts are great, still!) Certainly worth a look, even though there isn't anything out there quite like 40k! My thanks again, for watching and supporting!
