Nice Christmas Present, well done. The Liverpool Plains is probably the best area in NSW for storm chasing, although in recent years has not lived up to past history.

they happen quite a lot, they just dont last long enough to produce tornadoes most of the time, typically because they last a vital ingredient for supercell storms.

Well the tornado thing happened in the night in mountain area behind gold coast,lots trees down,power etc happened after Xmas day.
