Surprise Puppy Adoption - "Jax"

Sarah, my fiancé really wanted to save this cool little puppy from the shelter. She did not however realize I had reserved the dog without her knowing and later surprised her with our new puppy "Jax"!

Thanks to everyone with the kind comments!! Jax is a thriving 88lbs today and has a fur sister who we adopted from the same shelter a year later and looks exactly like him - exactly half the size at 44lbs! He lives a great life as we both work from home. He loves to watch the TV!- especially loves watching his video on TV and knows the music. Daniel and I are married with a baby boy on the way in April, who we debated naming Jax too! 🤣 Of course I loved and hugged my new puppy (who I thought was no longer mine) before my fiancé who I had kissed every day before then! Lol. And of course, I’m so thankful Daniel surprised me! We are very happy to this day and excited to see Jax become a big brother!! He is truly the best first addition to our family!

My daughter and I have 4 rescues ,she bought two min pins (puppy’s a few years ago then we adopted a Kelpiy puppy ( Aussie sheep dog ! The one that walks on back of sheep in those videos of sheep dogs in Australia! She is a sweetheart (14 years old now ) one of our minpin’s died 3 years of diabetes she was so adorable 🥰 Bitzy Bear was her name Wendy was her litter-mate (sister) she is known a Princess Wendy ! And she is definitely of royalty! Reserved but likes to be hugged and ears scratched She 15 years old then we rescued miss Coco cabana ! Who was going to be dumped but my neighbor told the people that I would take her as she and I talked about it when she learned they were moving ! We also rescued candy who was named cookie a chihuahua so I renamed her Candy because when I called her you guessed. It ,the pack thought I meant doggie cookie! We rescued a Chi Winnie ,Named Precious all Black with white on her toe on one foot and enough on her chin to look like milk or sugar she is sweet and more like a puppy ! She is about 1year old we were told by the man who was giving her up ! He said his mother couldn’t take care of her anymore as his mother was sick !we also have 3 cats but that’s another story for another day ! I am happy this time its a video with a rescue doggy for the surprise.. Most of them are a breed.. `purebred`but not really.. seems like most of them come from petshops or back yard breeders. A good pure bred breeder, with pedigree, would not sell a puppy to someone who they have never met as a surprise.. and most have a waiting list. you cant just go and pick up a puppy. Thats not how it should go. Hope to see more surprise videos with rescue dogs..

shelter dogs are mostly mixes or pit bulls. almost all are pit bull mixes. in 90% of shelters. I'm not talking about the shelters which get an occassional maltese which gets adopted in less than 3 days. shelter dogs are just hard to handle.

I really don't want a pit bull. I want a Maltese or poodle or lab or anything with good breed. people love that and we must love who we want to take care of!!! Not all dogs are the same. german shepheds, corgi, shih tzu, etc are so wonderful. why get a yucky dog breed?
