Daniil is in Taiwan now 16 Oct 2020. Me and my two boys are going to see his Bach Recital tonight. Can't wait. ❤️ Thank you, maestro Trifnov, for being here to bring us great music. 🙏

2:34 Violin player contemplates his life choices and status within the hierarchy of the orchestra upon seeing a Violin piece played so perfectly on another instrument.

I’m pretty sure he is sitting right in front of the basses and besides the cellos, so he probably plays viola! I’ve played this on viola too, so it applies just as well, trifonov is supreme!

Beautiful performance. Beautiful arrangement, light and airy and captures Bach perfectly -- although I will always prefer the performance for solo violin, which is how it was written by Bach

This boy heart beat is music. Literally. 2:13 is the moment when the comedy wins and player acknowledged that person in an audience recognises it and gives a little smile. So cute.

Why does there seem to be two different versions of this piece? Whenever I search it, it’s always a version different from this, but I know for a fact this is the version I played when I was young in a beginner piano book and I’ve never been able to find it anywhere past this video.
@mzkpfc9769 Жыл бұрын
I think that's because it's originally a violin piece- Bach Partita No. 3 Gavotte en rondeau

Perfekte Melange!!!

I hate the tone of the piano and prefer the harpsichord, it's entirely subjective, everything transposed to the piano seems just more lifeless. For example Bachs Chaconne just sounds absolutely atrocious to me on the piano but deeply moving on the violin, guitar, lute and harpsichord
