I flashed my older '08 zf6 based 135i... Completely fixed the laggy engagement at low speeds and makes shifting nice at higher speeds... I'm about 3k miles into the new flash. VERY WORTH IT.

I had this done to my 08 335i. Bought the car in 2016 sold it in 2021. Stage 3 tune my whole ownership. It never hurt the car. Now I have a 2011 535i, just did stage 3 in that, and it’s even cleaner and crisper.

@@dirkvanviersen671 i sold the car early this year but never really had problems with the gearbox since the flash. I did have the gearbox oil changed before i flashed it.

@@dirkvanviersen671 i mean it's better but it's obviously not as fast as a DCT. And my car had 260k km when i did it so i'm sure the gearbox was a bit worn anyway. but it worked great.

Flashed it an hour ago. The whole progress went smooth. But when it is done. I started the engine and got Chassis Stabilization Malfunction error. Now I can't use sport and sport + mode. I tried flash it stage 1 and 2. Same error when start the engine.

My questions are for those people who did it 2 3 years ago or before, how many miles/kms did your gearbox last ? Or aren't there any drawbacks? And what are the oil change intervals after the remap? Appreciate any answers/feedbacks

for how cheap it is to change the oil I do engine oil every 5k and gearbox every 30k. Usually XHP causes minimal more wear on the clutches so its not bad and unless your at mega miles 180k+ id say you have a long time till you wear the clutches out fully.
