I was initially wondering how in the world could this account of a controlled ejection could be an hour long. With this pilot's superb descriptive ability, I was put there in the seat. Even without the video. Bravo sir. For those that disliked the video, I respectfully ask ; "when did you lose your imagination?" Yes it was long for a you tube video but it was like a very detailed and very interesting short story book. Just a 10 minute video on an aviation mishap wouldn't have put me in the seat or his mindset throughout the ordeal. Great video, good luck and God bless!

It's amazing you could do an hour long story telling and I'm telling you I wasn't bored even for 1 second. This was so detailed in every aspect you fueled your story beautifully. I think there is no aspect of your story you didn't cover : the technical aspects, the SOP's, the human feelings, both professionnal and personnal, your doubts and how you dealt with them. I think you could be a good writer for Hollywood stuff. Well done.

Military style reporting, plus Lockheed Martin and Martin Baker would've gone over him with a fine tooth comb. His genius is that he's able to frame it in a nonchalant, friendly, "let's talk this over a beer" manner.

An extremely valuable and honest account of all possible aspects of this emergency and resultant ejection. Never tried it myself, but I know plenty who have and tragically some that never made it out. I've had my hand on the handle on 2 occasions, and looked down at an 'unfriendly' desert on another. Saying to myself, 'oh no, not today', after an engine mech. fail, before the procedures 'kick-in' and you start to work the problem and successfully recover to somewhere you had no intention of landing at. Big respect to you!!!

37:37 LOL, so much for the image of the fearless pilot. Full points for honesty though. Reminds me of a story I once heard. An experimental plane had crash landed, pilot got out just fine. When he was interviewed by a newspaper he tried to play it cool and said: "The worst part of the landing was that when I got out, the firefighting foam soaked my trousers." So the headline became: "Test pilot wets his pants"...
