I'm making it right now but I realized halfway through the baking I had it on 375 and it looks good at baking faster but I turned it down to 350 I'm excited to taste it I put raisins in mine and top half of it with chocolate chips and I put it in a bundt pan thanks for a delicious looking recipe I have to eat gluten-free so this is a treat I used avocado oil

It’s been in the oven for 20 minutes and I can smell it already. Smells so yummy! I replaced coconut sugar with jaggery+carob molasses, coconut oil with butter+olive oil. Thanks for the recipe!

Hi from Malaysia. I made this today and IT IS UNBELIEVABLY DELISHH!!! Soft and moist, I couldn't believe it was oatmeal flour. I didn't add sugar though cos the bananas were very sweet and I did add some dark choc chips. So the sweetness was just right. I have to stop myself from munching on this all day long 😊 - thanks Dani.❤❤❤

Ok! I’m trying it with date-syrup (no sugar ) and olive oil (didn’t bother buy coconut oil) rest almost the same. Guess what! It worked well.

Your body can’t tell the difference. Date syrup will give you a some more nutrients but your body will still break it down as sugar

I just made this, i used 4 bananas instead of two, oat flour with chocolate flavour ( no sugar ) from myprotein, 4 spoons coco oil, vanilla, 3 eggs, baking soda and baking powder, cinnamon. Turned out great, made it even healthier ( has like 4 grams of sugar and the natural sugar from the bananas, 40 g protein ) it's sweet, the banana flavour is there and I'm really happy with it, will surely save the recipe, thanks!

My immunologist gave me lots of info for baking and cooking with severe food allergies. One is to use the same amount of unsweetened applesauce in place of oil in the recipe. Not butter, just any vegetable oil, canola, olive, avocado etc. Ex. 1\2 cup oil = 1\2 cup unsweetened applesauce. This is for baking/dessert/cookie recipes. I've made both the zucchini and banana bread recipes you provided us and they both were delicious! Thank you for sharing!

Hey thanks for the recipe. We have very recently relocated and the kids started schools almost immediately. They have been taking store bought snacks as a part of lunch to school which beginning to get to me. Tried the banana bread and it came out great! I find it hard to watch cooks who talk on and on about unimportant issues or who make bold claims about their end products, "best ever etc". I believe, especially in baking, to weigh your ingredients.You may want to mention that using a scale offers great results.

a quick (and very minor) correction: using only egg whites will not make it higher protein, as yolks actually contain 60% more protein than whites. however, you are correct that the yolks contain more fat. I'm really happy to see recipes using oat flour. I love the taste of it, with its almost nutty flavour.
