Well I hope if she has a trainer for the MU they would preserve her style and not encourage her to do exaggerated walks and poses and gimmicky BS. That walk is everything and they should let her do her thing and polish a bit. I think the main reason why mmd didn't make it in the top five as well is because she looked tense just like Alexie. Whoever trains her, nurture her walk and talent but never change her into someone else.

When Bulacan came out in that white gown.. @@DaniWalker some of the contestants or probably the audience have overlooked her because her name is not that known, but the 1st time I've seen her in the finals night, i've told my partner that she will win this pageant. Then she won! She is someone to watch out for in the Miss Universe 2024. So relaxed, composed, very natural smile, elegant, eloquent, smart, very natural and the skin and her face! 🙌🙌🙌🙌

This year’s MUPH journey is literally the hardest of all time so far, it’s been 4-5 long months with countless activities, shootings and challenges, it can be so detrimental to some ladies, physically, mentally and financially. And not to the mention l, this is also one of the most competitive edition of MUPH with SO MANY of high caliber & stunning ladies. And I’m so proud of Bulacan, she was actually struggling financially as well throughout this long journey, but she is resilient enough to push through all the hardships eventho she doesn’t have much resources compared to other popular delegates. She is so so inspirational and so deserving 😭😭😭

What I love about Chelsea's answer is when you first hear it, it feels so organic and just came from her heart and life experience but when you took time to analyse it. God it so profound and the structure is well though out. I think that's her signature though, effortlessly and genuine. It's like watching a dancer that makes you think dancing is so easy with how they present their self.

Spot on Ms Dani re Athisa's answer to the final question. Even the once very noisy crowd in the venue who supported her up until that time had mixed and subdued reaction after she was done with her answer. How i wish she picked a more challenging question. I really thought she was doing splendidly well all evening and was on target to get the crown, until that final q n a portion. I hope she and Ms Iloilo be back again next year or the year after. The first time Miss Bulacan caught my attention was with the headshot!!!! One of the best!!! Then nada after that until the prelims and i had her as a possible winner but i still had either Iloilo or Quezon Province battling it out (i thought Iloilo would be called fifth in the top five but i'm OK with the top five but i had it as Cainta, Quezon Province, Bulacan, Taguig, Iloilo so Baguio, although i am from Baguio, was a surprise for me). With the Q and A 4th RU for me was Baguio, 3rd RU was Taguig. Now for the top three, i was thinking how were the judges judging - solely the night's performance in which case it would be between Bulacan and Cainta, or would the past months be included, in which case i though it would be between Cainta and Quezon Province. BUT OMG BULACAN WAS GRACEFUL, ELEGANT, FIERCE, AND REGAL! SHE TRULY DESERVES THE CROWN!!!

Our new Miss Universe Philippines Queen is such a beautiful woman from every point of view, she's a silent killer so i'm sure she will do an outstanding performance in Mexico, of course she need to polish some things here and there specially on the pasarela departament but her chances of winning this year MU Crown are very high, even the Latino Pageant community is praising her incredible beauty and very humble/likeable personality. The Latina font runnera are going to have a very strong contender on this amazing woman because Chelsea is a fierce fighter, she almost quit this year final competition but thank God she stayed because she is the best Filipina representative in recent years. I was there that night (first time seeing MUPH in person) and I was just completely blown away by how electric the energy was from start to finish. It was absolute madness in that arena. I feel like every pageant fan should experience MUPH live at least once in their life to feel that crazy energy in person. Ahtisa's fanbase in particular was absolutely wild that night. I don't think the telecast truly captured just how badly the entire arena erupted every time she had a highlight or was featured onstage. At several points throughout the night, i felt like I was at at the superbowl or something lol.

Harnaaz’s cat imitation in her interview with Steve Harvey in MU 2021 cemented her in the judges’ mind and ultimately helped her win. It may not have been scored but it still would’ve influenced the judges on how they perceive you. There are some editions of MU, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA that one contestant did so well in the interview during the semi finals that she just steamrolled everyone else afterwards, like the judges already picked their winner based on the interview.

I'm from Bulacan and I always see Chelsea and her parents around in my town. Of course, she's our best bet, She's very pretty inside and out, very cordial, very soft-spoken, she's always on-point and poised to be honest. She's our pride, we root for her 100% but we know that this year pageant supporters and fans are so loud vying only for their favorites and sad to say, our Chelsea is being underrated the whole time in competition. We're unbelievably proud on how she successfully overcame that very tough line up with just being calm, regal, surely a very quiet but strong-inside type of a character young woman which is why we are not surprised at all that she is now our 2024 Miss Universe Philippines. Miss Vulcan was recently interviewed by dyan castillejo. Her preparation/team story is super interesting because she didn’t have a formal one. She just had her parents and a couple people helping her pull out clothes and also online ordering. Her parents were her drivers, PA, makeup artists etc. you should totally watch it. Very very interesting

Yesss!!! The best beauty pageant analysis, reaction, and commentaries we've been waiting for. Dani, Miss Universe Philippines must hire you as a coach for Q & A. We are happy that you like the overall production, the candidates' perforrmances, the stage, etc. However, I and many people didn't like the performers during the swimsuit and evening vown competition. They are both dull and boring. There are tons of talented Filipino singers who are better than them. Miss Bulacan is really consistent since day 1. Many pageant fans are hyping Miss Quezon Province and Iloilo. While Miss Bulacan is just a silent killer. Nobody saw that coming and she came out victorious. Thank you so much Dani. Absolutely was waiting patiently for this video. Even though I watched the entire pageant I went back and watched all prelim videos by you to get caught up. The right winner was crowned. Cainta would’ve been a fabulous winner as well but Bulacan just had that extra something. I was very surprised by Ahtisa gown and final answer I felt she really played it safe. I've been a fan of Stacey since her Bb. Pilipinas days, and she was my top pick for the crown. She's a great representative of our country and truly embodies the authentic reasons behind her 'whys.' Now, let's talk about the height issue-because, let's be real, height doesn't determine your worth as a person. Even if the MU organization is looking for a specific prototype this year, no one can match the purity and values Stacey holds. She’s an amazing representative in her own right. But then, Chelsea comes along and declares, "Here I am!" Her effortless performance on stage and screen was undeniable, with her unassuming aura and genuine smile. Chelsea's ability to shine with such ease ultimately led her to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown. Overall, she did her absolute best to get to where she is now, and I couldn't be happier. I'm excited to see her compete as a new representation of what it means to be uniquely and diversely oneself.

As a choreographer from a small place in India...my rule for crowning is:- 1. First the sash...( from the left hand) 2. Crown... ask the winner to bow down a little... place the crown firmly and 3. The bouquet.. to be placed on the right hand.

Dani, your review is outstanding. And I liked your review about the contestants' answers. I learned from you. Chelsea deserves to win. She was so natural and having fun. She was not overdoing things. The judges were very smart. Chelsea's beauty also looked different and she stood out. Everyone else looked ordinarily beautiful and common. I also liked your comment about placing the crown on the winner's head. Honestly, I used to be a fan of MMD but not anymore because I've noticed she has become too into herself and "all about herself" these past 3-4 months. Even in this crowning moment, she appeared to be more focused on herself and picture taking, rather than on the winner. I could NOT believe she placed the crown on Chelsea so thoughtlessly stupid. I mean, who does that? And it seemed she wanted to stay on that stage for as long as she can. Other previous outgoing winners leave the spotlight as soon as the sash and crown are done. But MMD, wanted more spotlight on her. Very disappointing. This is just an observation, no bullying intended.
