There were some minor errors during the live. Miss USA had to do a double take because she was introduced as Miss US Virgin Islands. There was also a candidate who had to run back at the starting point because she walked too soon while the candidate she preceded was still midway of her performance.

Glad that you mention Puerto Rico's performance. If she performs like that in prelims and finals, she should advance to top 10 in the final night based on swim alone. As a side note, Puerto Rico not only won the first edition of Miss Grand, but has classified in all 11 editions thus far. On top of the 11 classifications of all the delegates representing Puerto Rico, 2 other Puerto Ricans have competed and also classified while representing other countries: 2023 3rd runner up Stephanie Miranda (USA), and 2014 Winner Lees Garcia (Cuba). Both born and raised in Puerto Rico till their teenage years, and from a Puerto Rican parent. When it comes to this edition, as a businessman, Nawat will probably crown Philippines or India. They are the obvious choices to keep a steady fan base in a year with new emerging pageants such as Cosmo, and also MU coming on strong under new management. The other option is to crown Czech Republic and steal the opportunity from MU to crown the first international Queen with vitiligo (Egypt). My top 10: 1. Philippines 2. India 3. Spain 4. Czech Rep 5. Curaçao 6. Dom. Rep 7. Perú 8. Myanmar 9. USVI 10. Puerto Rico

My friend was a media correspondent on site. He said the boat is stationary because it is anchored on both ends and two more on both sides (6 total) but you can still feel that you are not walking fully on solid ground. He said there is a slight "give" to it when there is big movement.
