NOTE: We promised 4 techniques but somehow one last exercise footage was not added so its only 3 techniques and a bonus. Dan will cover it and reshoot in the future along with any other conditioning techniques enough people request for.

When I started, I practiced these arm drills. I almost quit because the pain was so bad. My instructor was thin like me but his arms were like steel. I thought he had broken my arms at my first lesson. I was discouraged and disappointed and thought of quitting. After a week I decided to return and continue working. Now my arms are steel and I love it :)

We are essentially energy so is our increase on the hardening of arms is a mental thing just like getting ripped and working on bars doing calisthenics and with heavy weights using dumbells! All of this is increasing on the muscle memory and thus the impact of the muscle and the power, speed create power, but when you mix speed with hardening or conditioning it augments the power, breaking a brick or a wooden table it will be easier and over time will not hurt! Last year I did arm conditioning having bruises now I don't have any only red skin and the pain is lower and passes faster than having bruises months ago! That's because I did calisthenics for 11 and a half years! Trye calisthenics and some weights to harden your forearm then you will resist the arm conditioning training! It won't hurt as much as if you did not do calisthenic I promise! Start doing planches then pullups!

I've been watching you for a year and im staring to understand the Bruce Lee fighting philosophy, that is very practical but very efficient. I'm very excited. I also read Bruce's daughter explain how she feels his energy and I'd learning from her father even though he's deceased and she doesn't really remember him but she's learning from his leagacy. I just started watching your videos. I am 33 and have been studying martial arts since age 4. I have studied many styles, but I have always wanted to study Wing Chun. I did study Pencak Silat for 3 years before working studying it on my own and I still practice. I notice the similarities between Pencak Silat and Wing Chun. I finally found a Wing Chun class and will start studying it soon and I am excited. The partner workout you did in this video I used in Shorin-Ryu Karate.

Hello Dan - love your work on these instructional videos...I have been studying and practicing the 108 form Yang style Tai Chi Chuan...for about 17 years...What I discovered years ago was that my ability to Punch -came out of nowhere...What I mean is I did not realize what the tai chi had done to the body...I could punch almost (iron railing to wood - trees) anything (it seemed) so long as I remained relaxed...I saw that I had been carrying around so much tension for so many years - and now that the tai chi had had its effect..I was free to punch almost anything ...I have never been attracted to fighting or violence....I find the conditioning of which you speak happens gradually -almost unawares.(if i had attempted to punch anything before the training - I would have broke something - or simply been disabled by pain)..thanks

Hey there Dan, I must say you have..honestly got the cleanest flow I have ever seen.. I know there are subtly many styles of wing chun practitioners...so many. Almost micro diffrences...I pay attention to Aura and style of movement all the time, anytime I spar. But yours is just insane...I have alot of respect for you and your tips. I myself have been training for some years now..wing chun and JKD. Ive studied a few of Bruce's punches and techniques and have been refining them non stop. So again big ups to you man.. Insane technique. Please keep up the vids they're gold! Respect, -Dmitri

Thai boxing helps us out with conditioning and post treatment more than any other martial art. I combined this with my wing chun. Which gave me similar results to you Dan. I wish to point out the, Thai Yoga Massage, which is ALWAYS done after a training session in Thailand as far as I am aware. They use their feet and rub down vigorously the whole body. One of the most important things about conditioning is BLOOD flow. Why you also rub this medicine in. The herbs help, but the stimulation to the muscles, easing their pain thru blood flow will also ADD to conditioning and keep that blood flow at all times. Resisting bruising and abrasions. Massages after training will ease pain and promoting even MORE conditioning. This was a WONDERFUL video Dan. Didnt even know you trained til today!! Thank you brotha!!
