Treat each setback as an opportunity to learn.... Treat each leap forward as an opportunity to teach others so they shall learn.... Really admire the way you both handle each situation, good or bad and keep moving forward.... It will not be long before you are cruising.... Sending best wishes and positive vibes from Down Under 👍👍👍👍

We all know you will make a great job of the boat. Just remember that once it’s done this part will just blend into history and you will be off enjoying your new life. Sounds like it might be time to get back on the dough and treat yourself to a bottle of Prosecco.

Great to see you ( albeit slowly, but surely ) cracking on with the boat. You'll have to learn to work around the weather, take care both of you.

Yes definitely something we have to work around living in England! Thanks for watching

Hi, well done you two you're working like troopers. Bear in mind though that once the boat is complete and fully loaded you will have to have access to the bilge to add, remove or move ballast in order to trim the boat so that it sits correctly in the water.
@ItsOhJoe3 жыл бұрын
We have put the ballast in the places we think will be appropriate for our layout. Hoping for the best!

Just subscribed after hearing the shout out to you guys from James. Cool vids and an awesome project. Can I ask for info on the under floor insulation please? Thanks :)
@ItsOhJoe3 жыл бұрын
James is great, thanks so much. We used YBS Superquilt (it’s equivalent to 50mm celotex/xtratherm) 😀

I would of fitted the flooring and then hire a sander to save a lot of elbow grease. I did my nieces house like this and it was so easy.

If you use "Tek Screws" then there is no need to pre drill
@ItsOhJoe3 жыл бұрын
All complete now!
@grahamwright69283 жыл бұрын
The reason the drills keep breaking is that as the drill goes through the insulation the fibres catch and wrap around the drill bit and causes it to break.
@ItsOhJoe3 жыл бұрын
I did wonder if that was anything to do with the bits breaking so easily, I could feel the fibres tightening and pulling in the insulation!
@sbudd64032 жыл бұрын
you can buy screws that self tap and drill into steel so much quicker
@ItsOhJoe2 жыл бұрын
Tried some briefly but didn’t like the gauge of steel and kept snapping!
