Danny Boy - Tommy Fleming

My Daddy's most favorite song. His name was Daniel and he was from Glasgow. Everyone called him Danny Boy , so we all sang this most beautiful song to him especially for his Birthday.. Each time I hear Tommy Fleming sing this, it gives me 'goosebumps' as it reminds me of my dearest Daddy who has now gone to Heavenly home. May God Bless Him and Thank You Tommy.

I sat so many times and listened to my grandmother sing this, and held her frail little hands. My uncle then sang it at her funeral, it will always have a special place in my heart and in my memories. RIP Irene Duggan, Née Flynn, a great West Clare woman.
