@@StickManVSI’m 5’5” and it hasn’t really been an issue. Confidence and personality is more important than height because most women are looking for a guy that has his life together and is fun to be around. It is a preference and some women just won’t date shorter guys, and that’s alright, but most women I’ve met don’t care about it nearly as much as you’d think. You cant change it so don’t worry about it, and don’t feel like you have to “make up” for it. Just be confident in yourself and the people who like you for you will come.

I knew he was short but didn't know he was the same height as me. I have to deal with awful BS, I can only imagine how worse it is for men. Being a short adult is a huge challenge- nothing is designed with us in mind (adult clothes don't fit, feet don't reach the ground when sitting in chairs, tables cabinets and counters are too high, etc) and people act like it's *our* fault. I admire him for overcoming all that and becoming an international treasure. I hope I get to meet him some day and tell him how much hope he's given me since childhood. Love you Danny 🥹

Danny is such a legend, heartwarming to imagine the shortest and tallest kids together on a date! he is looking great for his age too, especially compared to other famous actors of his era.

I'm 4'10 and I'm a girl and I always struggle with it. I barely have any confidence. I was always told that being short for a girl is okay and for a guy its not. Truth is...its okay for both. Height doesnt and shouldn't affect anything and if someone rejects you for your height then they were not meant for u in the first place.

I interpret her asking to be a form of consideration. Sure it may bring attention to something he’s possibly insecure about, but it would be ignorant to think people don’t already know the subject of his possible insecurity. In other words, it’s already obvious that he’s short, so bringing attention to it isn’t doing any harm. But asking him his view on the subject is taking his feelings directly in to account. This is also from the perspective of a man who is 5”4’

Danny DeVito, one of the most underrated true acting genius with amazing versatility, from "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" to "What's the Worst That Could Happen"

When I was in high school, I was bothered by being 5'9" because I had a lot of friends who were taller, and I had friends who were girls that teased because I was "short" (its average height, but I was shorter, definitely). And it bothered me so much then because I felt like I SHOULD be growing. I ate right, I exercised, the whole thing. When I got to 19 or 20, I realized I was done growing, at least not in any dramatic fashion, and it was like a wave of confidence because I just accepted it. I am who I am, and everyone in my life who has a positive influence, or is just a friend DOESNT CARE. Or if they do, they're usually just a negative person anyway.

Seems like a really nice person and genuine. No one ever really cares about how tall another person is unless they have insecurities themself. I would date a woman who is super short if I loved her and super tall if I loved her. Her height would mean nothing to me and height never should in a true relationship or friendship.
