From a Leicester fan, I can understand why people would look at the league table and think it’s embarrassing we want him out. Despite this, if you’ve watched Cooper with Forest and his first five games with us, he only plays in one way. He’ll park the bus from minute one, even when we’re 0-2 up away at Palace and it eggs teams on. We’ve dropped numerous points already this season because of his park the bus tactics and he hasn’t actually played our best lineup once this season. Ricardo, Mavididi and Fatawu have to start and he hasn’t done that once. Every fan can see the amount of points he’s cost us already and we’ll end up sacking him too late like we did Rodgers. It’s about getting the most out of your squad you have available and he is NOT doing that and in my opinion WON’T ever do that. Despite what people think, ndidi, Ricardo, Hermansen, Vardy, Mavididi, Fatawu and a few others are good enough to keep us up JUST in this insanely hard league. Unfortunately he isn’t starting and won’t start the right players and won’t change his style of play.

Cooper has a way he wants to play, you could see that during his time in the championship. He couldn't carry on that way in the Prem or he'd of taken Forest down so he was pragmatic and adapted their style to keep them in the league which was a ridiculous achievement considering the amount of players Forest purchased. He's now in a position with another championship level squad and frankly he's doing ok with them, the football isn't going to look good hes trying to be hard to beat not pleasing on the eye. Leicester fans are far too entitled, frankly it's embarrassing.

Trouble with Cooper is that subs very rarely work for him at this level. In the Championship nearly every tactical change worked out. That first season was a real slog and it felt like we were still naive in the first part of last season too. Nuno managed to get us organised and we ground out safety with a points deduction and some VERY questionable refereeing against us too.

Cooper is not utilising his strengths, he's forcing natural inverted wingers to play hopeful crosses and low cut backs OR even on the opposite side! Our attacks are one sided, predictable, only ever pushing up overloads on one side. Instead of our RB coming into midfield to give us a forward balance like last season, either fullback becomes a winger on the same side and then the starting winger becomes a second 10 while the back line spreads to cover the space - it leads to all our attacks coming from which ever side the fullback pushes. Predictable.

At Forest the fans were realistic on what success would be. Staying up! We knew the first 2yrs would be hard & just needed to survive, so we could then build. So the supporters roared the team on constantly. Even while being 5-0 down at Man City. Leicester City will only survive with the fans backing. Cooper is not daft. He knows that free flowing football will allow them to get hammered most weeks. You can’t run before you can walk.

I've watched all of Leicester's matches this season except v CRY. The team as a whole is playing well, defending as a unit and has scored a lot of goals. Are they perfect or going to beat the top six clubs? no. But when you compare them to how SOU played at BOU on Monday, they are world's apart. The same if you compare them to the Leicester side that went down under Rodgers - this 24/25 side is playing MUCH better. On the other hand, you cannot deny that they have not won and have let in goals first in almost every game so have been fighting for the majority of the game just to catch up and dropped 4 pts in injury time - that was a Rodgers classic in 22/3. In the next four games they play BOU, NFO, SOU, IPS - if they don't win the majority of these they are in BIG trouble. Then we can talk about sacking Cooper.

I think talksport has an agenda against Leicester tbh. But the forest connection is a non factor and irrelevant. I'm not happy we have a forest manager but I'll live with it. The football is the worst I have seen. And I remember the league 1 season and before that. The grievances against cooper are the style of play. Not playing the best players and playing players out of position. Not that 'pragmatic' is he? Also he is not going to develop our youth players and not give them a chance. He did not do that at forest. And rumours are he is not choosing certain players that don't agree with his style of play and is leaving them out of the team and it's a growing concern in the club hierarchy. Ultimately he is the wrong manager for the team if it's already a mess like it is. If he win games, fair enough. But I'm not holding my breath. He will be gone soon enough because I don't see the results coming because it's not winning football, it's avoiding a loss, he plays the lowest common denominator style of football and that never ends well.
