Can we just leave all the speculation about what the NRL or the Broncos might or might do about Mam until his criminal case has been finalised. And don't forget if the second dug test is positive he'll be charged at least for unlicensed driving, driving under the influence of an illegal substance, and causing an accident . If GBH is caused in that accident (and if it is true that a 4 year old girl sustained a broken hip) he's looking at maximum penalties of 14 years' gaol. Not saying he would get anywhere near that but that's the aggregate penalty. I think he should be more worried about what's going to happen in Court than at the Broncos. And please don't trot out the usual crap of "everybody does it" and "he's only a poor baby". Doesn't matter - it's ILLEGAL.

The NRL need to deregister Carr for 12 months and Mam needs to get deregister him for 24 months this is the only way to stop this. Not testing players in the off season means that it is open season for all drugs because a few seasons ago I saw Nathan Cleary with steroid induced acne on his face at the start off the season. Side affect is soft tissue injuries and weaker tendons. Cleary has continuing hamstring and shoulder issues.

And I can tell you for sure he was my favorite player he was amazing Ben but he had lots of domestic violence charges drug and alcohol charges the NRL tore his contract up and he went to England, got man of steel and then came back to the nrl and through a rock at his wife in a casino after she spent all his money 😅

Good for Addo Carr to be sacked and that is the expectation of the public. Much more serious is the Ezra Mam thing. He should be sacked by the Broncos and deregistered by the NRL. Then he can go and face the Queensland Police alone for drug affected, unlicensed driving, negligent driving, causing an accident and GBH to the other party. Dude might find himself behind bars - I hope not for his sake...he might get called a name and he might cry.

The thing is before anyone can really make a comment we need to hear about the second test and the QLD Police investigation, Brisbane and the NRL can't do anything to Ezra Mam until then. The thing where we can all agree on is Ezra did a very stupid mistake in driving unlicensed but then the question is asked "how did he get the car without a license?"

The Broncos will take the pathetic route and try to spin it that Ezra Mam has attempted to make good with the other people involved in the accident and do some cultural public service. What ever penalty the Broncos serve, the nrl need to step in and take charge and serve their own penalties and stand Ezra Mam down without pay.

It pisses me off, why are these aboriginal stars of the game so good for the kids ambitions and development finding themselves in these predicaments and yet Andrew Johns admits to drug use throughout his whole career after retirement from the game and rewarded still with NRL still commentary on games ( which he is crap at) and nothing done, is there a racial tone underneath these decisions because I just so easily made one, you have these welcome to home speakers before the game ( which i don't like or think is necessary) which some belive helps with inclusion and recognition and yet we see players representing native Australians being axed from clubs and the game seems hypocritical in a sense what message is being sent, personally I'm a Bulldogs fan all my life and played the game from 5yrs old to 17 non stop every year and know as much as it hurts the right decision was made with the Bulldogs and love Ado Carr but the Bulldogs is a family club and cocaine or any illegal drugs or bad behaviour shouldn't be tolerated but bring back the biff and the big guys we need to stop speeding this game up and fatiguing the big guys out of the game.
