I think the most hilarious part of this is how completely disconnected the two events are. You grab a kerbal with 2 grabbing units, and the planet disappears. There is no way that even remotely makes any sense, and it's beautiful.

I think Jool won't die because it's "ground" is invisible, and the perceived cloud layers are scaled space all the down. That's why the clouds have the black/see-through glitchy effect when you fall down into Jool. Sometimes Kerbin will glitch out and it's terrain won't blend in from scaledspace, so you fall in to a flat sphere Kerbin and explode no matter what velocity you're at when you hit sea level. You also see the see-through effect in this case as well.

I've had similar experience with the (pretty ancient) Torque game engine, if you have three active players you can attach the first to the second to the third, but attaching the third to the first results in the camera rendering failing and the physics engine getting frightened and imparting those three loop-mounted objects massive velocity. I actually enjoy the results of pushing various video game structures into weird states and watching them try to deal with odd states and weird data.

Hey Danny, I unfortunately discovered this glitch a while ago. There is actually a much simpler way of doing it. You don't need the kerbal or the extra claw. You need one vessel with a claw, and a vessel to dock to that claw. All you need to do is activate the claw, switch to the other vessel, and "dock" it to the claw. It's actually a very simple glitch to recreate. You just have to be controlling the vessel without the claw when it docks to the claw.

I'm really sorry if this annoys any of you, especially Danny, but I'm just trying to get the message out of this great game that deserves more than it gets credit for. It's called Flagship, and it's basically a first-person capital ship simulator. They are running a kickstarter, and it only lasts for about 20 more days. I won't post a link because most of you will probably think it's some virus, so just google it and see if you like the idea, which personally think is amazing! Again, I apologize if I annoy any of you, but I think a lot of fans of space will enjoy the concept. It's just like KSP, but first-person! Well, slightly different, but you get the idea.

I got this by accident in a very simple way. I made some small vessel with the AGU on it's side, horizontaly, close to the ground. Then I armed it, got a rover, and tried to manuver the rover to attach to the AGU.
