Thank you for watching the video! I speak about painting on a panel in the video. Panels that I use are generally made of wood. Here are a couple of links to panels: These are 8X8 panels which you will need to prime first. amzn.to/2xUDOkw This next link are these cool little 4X4 boards that are good for practicing this process. amzn.to/2yCq90e

THE BEST tutorial for acrylic pouring on KZbin. Thank you so much for this. Wish I had watched it sooner. My head was full of different ratio's of this and that resulting in much wasted paint and many re used canvasses. I'll try this ratio on Tuesday. I didn't realise the silicone doesn't need Stiring, everyone else stirs there's and my cells were so tiny. A big thank you from Oz.

First of all I'm a very technical person. "Do this" .... doesn't always work with me because my mind ALWAYS asks WHY? If I get the why answered, it makes the how so much easier to commit to. THANK YOU, thank you, thank you, for the whys. I get it, it makes sense, I can commit to the process because my mind accepted the instruction without asking more questions. Art can be difficult for a WHY person. I just love your instruction here. I'm going to look up your other videos and binge watch. I actually take notes. You Rock.

Danny thank you sooo much for being as thorough with your description and process. I don't know why other artist feel it's a secret. It's been done years ago. Nothing is new under the sun as it is said. The way you explain the scientific meaning is brilliant and simple for me to understand. I'm your subscriber now. You have freed my brain from the unnecessary. I've done mine years ago, just with the paints alone. They came out bright and shiny, and still looking good. They are under a glass frame. Hi Heber. I am pouring on 12 inch by 12 inch tiles to use on my kitchen floor. What are you using your tiles for? And, do you think the resin will seal the tiles enough so that I can walk on them and not worry about too much scratching, or I can mop them and not worry about the paint coming off the tiles. Thanks in advance, Heber! :)

Hello Will? I will be pouring on either 6 x 6 or 4 x 4 tiles, but with the intention of pouring acrylic paint and then resin to finish it up and seal the art underneath. I believe you are doing it to cover your floor. I believe the resin I will use is more for art, not worrying about stepping on it, more like hanging them on the wall when finished. I believe that for your application, you would need like a construction grade resin. On that matter I have zero knowledge, I guess you can always google something like "resin for finishing tiled floor" or something along those lines....sorry I could not be of more help... :( PS; I think there is a video here in KZbin of a guy doing a kitchen project in which he lays out pennies on the floor and then pours resin on top to seal and finish the floor, search for it, maybe the guy mention which type of resin he is using and that just might help you to figure it out :) !!

Hi Danny, love your work, have been doing this kind of painting with varying success after seeing Annemarie Ridderhoff's videos. She referred to you and your instructions are so clear regarding the recipe!!! There is only one major problem for me - I live in the UK and finding floetrol for latex seems to be impossible, can get floetrol but only in large amounts, 2 + litres at a time and at vast expense. Found some places on line in the States but they don't send to UK. I was hoping you might know/have had someone with more info on where we Brits can get it. Thanks in hope - meanwhile keep up the good work. Jean (Smith) PS, particularly loved the orange /yellow mix you did, and they aren't my colours - very inspirational!

Just started pouring today, love it, getting great cells, etc., but was getting those 'potholes', a pain going back and filling them, etc. Thanks for answering that question! I also see that I need more Floetrol than others suggest, so that's another question answered. You rock! I watched this vid awhile ago, but until I actually did a pour, well, you start to see things up close you can't see on a vid. Again, thanks for your time, hope you had a great vacation.

awesome video Danny! I've watched so many tutorials on youtube over the last month and yours is the best. You explain EVERYTHING in ways that are easy to understand. Also yours is the very first I read in the description you wrote 'Wearing protective clothing such as a respirator, goggles and gloves is highly recommended.' I wish I knew this weeks ago as I was trying this in my bathroom using all the same products as you showed here and I felt like I was going to pass out, dizzy spells and swelling of throat....now I use a respirator. I think this is incredibly important to list as you did as a lot of people could be chemically sensitive and not know it.

Honestly the best video I have watched on pours :) So informative and detailed yet delivered black and white ( so far all the others I've watched long it out sooo much and waffle, mumble and digress so much it becomes fused with too many grey areas!!) Yours...Crystal clear! Also so lovely to hear you mention your kids ( I have no idea why but it made me smile!) Well done and Thank you so much for sharing your video.

Thanks very much, Danny. The oil-specific floetrol also has a great unintended use: it stops further oxidation and rust in steel. People use it to preserve a rusty patina and stop it from going further or to save stripped metal from rusting again. Dries clear.
