With raising the suspension and the wheel spacers, don't forget to get the alignment re-tweaked!!

I had quite bad understeer in one direction with a broken front drop link on my civic, mechanical grip was definitely reduced.

I looked in to that a bit further... the Honda MC doesn't have a front and a rear port. It has 2x M10 outlets that from factory go to the OEM prop valve/ABS pump (which I don't have either of anymore). On some cars there is a smaller port for the rear, and a larger flowing port for the front, but not on the DC2R. So it shouldn't make a difference which port its in, and I spoke to a fair few people on this who agreed. For peace of mind though, I fitted the front brakes into the port closest to the firewall. Again it shouldn't make a difference, but it gets the internet mechanics off my back :P (for reference, Josh, Pete, Enric, and Olly all run it the way I had it previous)..

What coilovers are you running? That's going to be my next upgrade so I'm doing some research. I want something that isn't too stiff, the roads over here in LA are complete shit. Good call on the Advans, should help with the understeer. Its too bad you guys don't get the new RS-RR's over there, I'm loving mine and I'm sure they're an improvement over the old RS-R's. You could've probably got away with running the 225's in the front and the RS-R's in the back (if you wanted to save cash). I just pumped some new Motul 600 and put some Stoptech slotted rotors on my Teg yesterday. Also trying out some Torco gearbox oil.
