Good times! Sorry I broke the Corolla before you got a good rip haha. I’ll get her fixed up for next time. Context: earlier in the day the Corolla lost the water pump belt and overheated quite a bit. Rest of the day was spent battling coolant temps. Time for some repairs. No fault of Dan haha.

How would you compare the s2k to a track spec eg like yours? I’ve always heard the ap1s are very nervous and difficult to drive hard but the ap2s are better, but I doubt either are better than an eg or dc2?

So good to watch this adventure, thanks ! With a larger diameter wheel (was way too nervous with that smaller diameter) and an AP2 rear subframe (more stable), you would be 1st no question. More !

What does the subframe change?

@@dannyDC2 it changes the variation of toe in/out while shocks moving (The curve of this variation is non linear on AP1). The quick break of the rear end that you experienced with just a small input on the wheel comes mainly from that. AP1 are a joy on windy roads, but lacks of stability and traction on fast tracks, even with serious track setup.
