Danny, you are such an incredible inspiration to countless people around the world. This was a beautiful video, you've clearly come a long way and its amazing to see where you are now. Take it from a guy in smalltown Alberta, I have made some stinkers through my time in high school and even after into film school. But I love all of them, what I learned during & after making them is more valuable than anything I could've asked for. I'm almost 23, graduated from film school last year and I still have so much to learn. Right now I'm writing a feature and getting ready to apply for grants for another short film, a musical too, way outside my comfort zone. I do worry sometimes, trying to balance working on my own stuff while also trying to find work on paying sets... But videos like this and many others with your sincerity and optimism give me hope that things will pan out the way they're supposed to. So, thank you, for giving everyone hope that it's going to be okay. And to be creative. - Jared P.S. Can't wait to finally be able to see 'I Think I'm Sick' when it's available.

Plus Im about to shoot my first proper cinematic film tmrw and I was so nervous istg but watching this I feel confident and ik even if I mess up (which I might tbvh) it’s alright as I know the more I create the more I’ll get better at my art and become the kinda filmmaker I want to be. You do truly inspire us man. At some point the YouTubing will probably end, for now, we are very very grateful. We'll watch your BTS vlogs on the DVD extras for your future feature films. lol [next bit is me just typing away] I'm at this weird point, 31, working full time at a marketing company as their writer, director, producer. I really want to write and direct a short film. However, I know the amount of work it takes to make a GOOD short film vs just making my first short film. Having directed some small ads now, it's kinda been my filmschool like the Spaced TV show was for Edgar Wright. I'm just not passionate about making commercials. Films and entertainment are my passion. But at 31, I'm ready to find a wife and have a stable job to support a family. So if I commit to filmmaking, I'll have no time to do anything else other than my job and filmmaking. I spent my 20s lazily chasing dreams that didn't work out, and idk if I want to spend that time chasing my dreams again. I'm 31... 30.... freakin.... 1...... I'm kinda just typing my emotions out. I think I'll figure it out, but just wanted to say, again, Danny you keep inspiring me. Edgar Wright has been a big inspiration lately, and you dropping this video now, huge. So happy for you man! Been following you now for a few years. Hope to meet ya! Movies and incredible performances since I was a kid are what got me into acting. Incredible filmmaking got me into nerding over film. Seeing how much money wedding videographers make got me interested in leaving my old job. You and Casey Neistat are the reason I decided to pick up a camera and commit and now I have a job making videos for clients! Edgar Wright peaked my interest in writing and directing. __________ was what made me finally commit to writing my first short film. (pending) Much love man. :)
