Excellent recap, and I'm really liking the use of sound effects and other subtle tweaks. There's something I'd like you to hear me out on, though. You mentioned how it felt that you were being made to hate Cassidy in this volume, and that you didn't like it. I think that's what Garth Ennis wanted, for you to be in the same spot as Cassidy's old buddy from New Orleans. You love him, but then he lets you down, and he's a vampire, so rock bottom is a lot lower. Tulip's not the only one getting a warning here. Further, there's pretty strong evidence that Preacher is both a celebration of and a critique of American masculinity. Sure, Jesse and Cassidy are pretty great guys, but we've had them around long enough now that we're gonna start to see some of the flaws and they are not small. Just keep it in mind for when we arrive at the Alamo. Thanks for the content, man.

Wasn't Lestat if I remember correctly, but one of the guys who Lestat turned. *checks google* The interviewed "vampire" was Louis, one of Lestat's "sires". Me being a fan of the book series: Lestat is, however, the main character of Anne Rice's books which the movie is based upon.

Yeah I do cut small details here and there. Cassidy’s eyes are messed up and Eccarius has contacts, and eyes are fine, and we don’t see Cassidy’s eyes. Do we ever see Cassidy’s eyes later? I forget what the deal with them is, and if there is a big pay off on a reveal later. I’m on my notes for volume 7, so volume 8 and 9 aren’t fresh in my mind.

I dont like where they took his character either and how they are trying to force u not to like cassidy as danny said in the end, but a few bullets arent going to redeem that. Theyll probably have him do some heroic rescue or something that doesnt fit his character and makes us have even more conflicting feelings.
