And that charger plate is gorgeous! And in many cases the plate that you're actually going to eat your food off of is set on top of the charger. But I'm glad they didn't use that one in that way because it is so lovely and you wouldn't want it to get scratched or chipped

Red Chopsticks pair is the serving pair. White/Off White is the personal pair. Serving chopsticks are quite common in some HK families household. Also, in high-end HK restaurants, aside from the Red Serving Chopstick pair per person, they also provide, per person, an extended Gold plated serving spoon with a utensils rest that is also gold-plated.

Danny - I just subscribed. Lovin' this video, especially the "show" charger plate. I had to smile when you wondered about the two colors of chopsticks. I wouldn't know... A German/Norwegian kid (decades ago kid that is) from Minnesota. Lived here/Vegas a long time. I smiled because I was watching a video just a week ago when the vlogger asked the same question, which I just happen to see/catch. As soon as you brought it up, I said "hey, I know that one!" I've eaten dinner at Jasmine twice, both times the tasting menu and it was excellent. I've had dinner many times at Blossom and always have the lobster with ginger and green onion. That is to die for!

thats easy. yes, some places have a dress code, ie: men must wear jackets…. where they have jackets in case u forget to bring one. I myself believe in personal freedom, I wear what I wanna wear and thats the end of it. If a place have an issue with that (none so far) I take my business elsewhere.

New Subscriber, this was such a great video! I am going to Las Vegas in November and looking for a nice place for a "splurge" meal. This one might be too fancy, too many rules, lol. I have always wondered about soft shell crabs, do you taste the shell at all? I love crab (and all seafood) but have never tried that type. I always thought the point of a "charger" plate was to leave it on the table and put the food plate on top. Guess I am not fancy enough, lol.

welcome! I dont taste the shell, but it isnt exactly like eating just blue crab meat either.. Soft shell crabs are one of my favs, perhaps only because im lazy. And I have no idea about those fancy people things with their excessive dining customs.. A regular guy like me is simply happy that the food was not on the floor! I love this video! so, a funny story about soft shell crabs… wayyyy back, in woodbridge va, i was a security guard for “Chesapeake seafood house” where they once had a few locations around northern va and it was the ONLY all you can eat seafood buffet place around. I loved it and then when i became a security guard, (well before becoming a police officer) my guard company sent me there! they would give me little tiny bowls of seafood if i got a break. sadly they all shut down slowly over the many years, but well before covid. anyway, when i went there to eat, i once ordered the all you can eat softshells but didnt like eating the shells so it took me longer to eat all of the meat out of them. but they kept bringing it. Now, the way that YOU eat this, makes it seem like the shells are truly crispy and would not get caught in your throat. your video made me recall the exact table i was at, and what side of that room i was on, as they brought more out getting frustrated with me that i was only eating the meat and not the shell, lol. I forgot all about that until i saw your video.

I may not be Chinese, but I love Chinese food meaning "Fried Rice". The first time I ate Peking Duck was in the Philippines, since we have a lot of Cantonese and Taiwanese restaurants. I don't eat it all the time and when I do, they are far in between. I can't tell the difference; all I know it's succulent. The only time I ate Peking Duck here in the US, is in LA China Town and that's over 10 years ago. Once I'm confident to travel, I'll eat in Bellagio to have bragging rights with my Chinese friends who owns restaurants back home.

Danny the Medic just caught your video at Jasmine. Very overpriced Chinese food. I was there in September. Had Peking Duck and Sweet & Sour Pork. No white rice served with meal. $5 dollars for a small bowl of white rice after spending about $150 dollars for the very dry duck and over fried pork that could not be chewed or cut with a knife. It is a beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff. I am Chinese and what the heck, no complementary rice with your main course. Save your money and eat at Mott 32 or Blossom for high end Chinese food at luxury casino resorts. Love your videos and always anticipate your next review. Funny man you are.

I had dinner at Jasmine last February. Service was great. Food is okay. Not the best in Vegas. Wing Lei at Wynn is much better especially their Chinese New Year Brunch Buffet. Their menu price may be a bit higher. It worth every penny
