Я вспомнил его реакцию на "Tomorrow is a Lie ": он начал слушать с недоверием и предубеждением против такой музыки - но 14-ти летняя девочка буквально втянула его в своё силовое поле - и он сдался... Этот голос настолько убедителен, что может одних - заставить изменить свои музыкальные предпочтения ( например, меня), а других - получить удовольствие от прослушивания музыки, к которой ты, вообще-то, равнодушен...Впрочем, в Диане ему больше всего нравится то же, что и мне: напряжённый драматизм, даже трагизм исполнения в лучших вещах. There are hundreds of covers of this song and few touch me and get close to Elvis, but Diana and her coaches and musicians are smart and she makes it her own song. Diana sang this Elvis Presley song in the first episode of the 'Шоумаскгоон' (ShowMASKgoon) competition. This is Diana's first competition for adults on Nov.2021. She is the youngest participant (18 ys) and with her first song she tore the participants and viewers from their seats. 9 winners of the previous shows 'The Mask', 'Superstar' and 'Du bist Super' take part in this new format and have to sing in 9 categories: folk hit, song at the end of the 20th century, Soviet song, pop hit , Song of your choice, new music, song from cartoon or film, rock hit, Grammy The man who jumps up is the famous opera singer Yusif Eyvazov and husband of the world-famous opera singer Anna Netrebko. He is the guest of honor and gives 9 points to the competitors in this first episode. Every episode comes a new guest of honor. The competitors have to evaluate each other and have praised Diana in the highest tones. They said about their performance: 'Diana has no competition on the show - she amazes with her talent - it is impossible to tear yourself away from her - you want to listen endlessly, they have' tears in their eyes and are even afraid to blink '. 8 out of 9 participants (Diana cannot give herself any points) gave Diana the highest number of points (9). Lol .. what an opening salvo for your first adult competition. Yep she blew the doors off 😂 The bearded judge was the guest judge and he was an opera singer and married to one of Russias top Sopranos. He was deeply shooketh🤩 ... not just by the insane Tone and power but the emotional force she clobbered everyone with in this one. They new she sang low they were not expecting a Diana as a Diva ramping up a mini fantasy aria. 💖😎💙 With full professional stage support. Interesting fact the musical arranger from Wicked game and Rechencka was at work here and deffinately on Crow ... I suspect also on personal Jesus, the final two performances. Which the TV channel seems to be holding on to longer ... all the rest are freely available on her channel where you are unlikely to get blocked. Diana doing jazz.. listen to her do what a wonderful world.

At the age of about 11 she auditioned on a show for disadvantaged children and sang/yodeled. It is called 'Jodel Time'...really extraordinary...the audience absolutely loved her but the judges didn't turn their chairs around, even though they were obviously fascinated by her voice. They asked her to sing something else and she sang a French song acapella...but she was not chosen. What did she do? As the audience cheered her, she went up and gave the judges a hug! Completely captivating performer, even at the age of 11! I'd say watch her do Elvis' 'Can't Help Falling in Love' (fantastic -- she makes it an entirely new song). And also you could do 'Wicked Game' and 'Rechenka' both at the age of about 15 in singing contests... utterly spectacular voice! Also she sings a beautiful and uplifting 'Into the Sky!' Enjoyed your comments on her....the background is as extraordinary as the performer. At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak without impediment. Only two years later she started singing in local theater, and in street plays and performances. And soon after was entered in a Russian TV music competition for disadvantaged children. By the age of 10 she was winning local competitions, singing on live TV shows, and her songs started showing up on KZbin. Two months ago, at the age of 18, her first performance during a new Russian television competition with several other renowned performers, has gone viral and has garnered hundreds of KZbin 'reaction' videos, and millions of viewers. Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Diana Ankudinova sings mostly in Russian, English and French. She has also sung in other languages including Spanish, German and Arabic.
