Is this a particular style of ballet? I'm older, but I haven't come across some of these positions in Australia.

this is beautiful! can you please make a video with tips for improving turnout on the standing leg and in fifth position? i struggle with balance in centre tondues and developpes, when my supporting leg is turned out, if you get what i’m trying to say? thanks xx

So beautiful 🥰 & music too. I just realised you remind me of Audrey Hepburn. She also trained as a ballerina!

Truly beautiful Miss Desiree you are an amazing dancer would love to see your dance works!!♡Btw can you explain or detail how a la seconde turns and fouettes can be strengthened and pick up more momentum please!!☆
@DansiqueFitness4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! To strengthen those turns, try doing them with one hand on the barre and take out the turn...so you're just doing the working leg and working arm motion while focusing on a strong plie followed by a straight and pulled up releve. To gain more momentum you need a quick whip on the head in your spot, strong arms coordinating with the legs, and focus on the opposite shoulder coming around...so if you're turning to the right, think of your left shoulder coming around. Leaving the opposite side behind just pulls you back. Also, plie is your best friend...but don't make your up and down even...you want to sustain the up a tad longer and do a fast (but generous) plie that rebounds quickly! xoxo
