As I have stated before, of all the hundreds of weathering videos I have watched, Dan is by far the absolute best.

When Athearn started their Genesis line freight cars, they said, "Any closer to real and you'll need a waybill to route them." Dan: Hold my beer.

So excited that you might be doing some update videos on your layout. I do hope you delve deeply on your building your scenery when you get to that stage. Your weathering and detailing of rolling stock and engines are top-notch and really do capture the look of modern cars and the weathering and tags. So I am looking forward to, and hoping you continue that refined eye when building, detailing and weathering your scenery.

As usual Dan, your detailed upgrades and weathering skills are hands down! I'm very much looking forward to seeing your layout videos soon and watching a mixed manifest train operate on your layout. Thank you for sharing your talent and skills with us.

When the third one is sitting and not in use, have some poor soul with a shovel about to clean it out. Been there, done that! And these look very real. Their was a grey ghost that hung around in Utah for a California minute. I'm VERY Impressed with your work!

Dan, Love your videos and commitment to the hobby. I model O Scale, but your weathering principles carry over. Can you show a picture of the blocks you mention on warping the gondola in boiling water? Stay healthy!

Superb effects. Would love to see how you would go about weathering steam era rolling stock and locos as I model the 1930s. Thanks for sharing.

Great to work. Have you considered a custom freight car manual. I have two books I bought on intermodal stuff and those manuals are fantastic. They were published back in '97. What those guys did back then are RTR now. What's lacking today are modern tank cars. Like the panda bear and candy color banded cars.
