I highly recommend "Tav's Hair Salon" together with its companion mod, "Icons for Tav's Hair Salon". Watching the video you may have noticed that the hair icons are generic placeholder icons, not giving us a good indicator of what the styles look like. The latter mod addresses this by adding icons for the hair styles, making the choice much easier, especially given that THS includes a huge number of hair styles, and it's only getting bigger!

Tav's Hairpack is fantastic!! I also recommend the various hair mixers that add hairstyles to Facial Hair, and, together with the Half-Tief mod, to the tails. It can make really fantastic combos!!

Did they ever add physics to the hairs in that mod? I tried it once and only the hairs that were direct copies of in game hairs had physics. So I never went back to it.

My only "complaint" about Tav's hairs is that they are AMAZING but most of them don't incorporate the hair tint color :(

My Durge is a female tiefling, using Eyes of the Beholder, non-glowing cat preset, color flame white and black sclera. It looks soooooooooo gooooood!!!! So many amazing mods for an equally fantastic game 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

You can always use two-handed weapons as a warlock, if you bind them as pact weapons

I’m using the Aesimar 5e mod by DarthRen. Very cool. You get the racial buffs as well. And permanent wings which are SUPER useful. Only problem is that body type 2 is used for the animations. So anyone using body type 3 or 4 will get animations as if they were short on tall tavs. So companion kisses for example will just clip through your chest.

My main gripe with race mods is the lack of dialogue options. Being a half-angel walking through the goblin camp should make them fear you, them thinking they could mess with you makes no sense and is super immersion breaking lol

I've been playing around with the Echo Knight mod and Oath of Conquest. Both are in 5e and are very fun to play with. Recommended.

I just want to be able to travel with all my companions at once. I'm sure it would trivialize combat and they'd likely get stuck on things but it's rough choosing who to leave behind with Withers.

If you do end up using party limit begone, I recommend using Tactian Plus to boost the HP so the fights aren't super easy.

These are much more useful than the one I found yesterday on Nexus when I was just browsing BG3 mods out of boredom at work, and didn't have any filters on, that was titled "Big Jiggly Girl 🍆". Which really made stop and think to myself "what in the hell is wrong people?"

If you can’t get mods, base game BG3 actually implements the hexblade lvl 1 features of allowing you to add your cha to attack rolls with your pact weapon if you take pact of the blade.

I could be wrong, but aren't you already able to cast Eldritch Blast with a two handed weapon now??? IDK Hexblade just seems less useful to me in BG3 since the Hex warrior ability comes with pact of the blade.

Hexblade is more front-loaded, meaning you can do so from level-1. It also gets the Hexblade's Curse feature that was discussed, and presumably has Medium Armor and Shield proficiency. Many would install this mod for multiclassing. A one- or two-level dip into Hexblade is essentially a Warlock dip on steroids.

You should check out the Magus class mod. It adds an interpretation of a class from pathfinder that fuses spellcasting with weapon attacks in a really cool way. Unlike the warlock which attacks with its spellcasting ability, the Magus uses it's Spellstrike feature to infuse attack roll spells into it's weapon so the spell attack is resolved as an attack with the weapon. They effectively cast spells with Dexterity or Strength (depending on if their weapon has Finesse or not).

Party limits begone is the one I'd recommend. Slam the difficulty up as high as you dare, and play the game with 13 (maybe even 14) characters at the same time. Even on tactician difficulty, it's not as broken as you'd think. My party of 13 level 12 characters still gets their asses kicked if you're not careful.

I recommend mjolnir mod. The weapon is op as F and it has an animation where you teleport and decimate a large area. It gives you choice as if you want to end the fight quick just use the mjolnir abilities. If not just dont use its abilities(ıt is still op but it is like a one handed balduran great sword) and have fun fighting.

I'm using "Native Camera Tweaks" which works fine with patch 5. It's a free-floating camera that you can move & turn, change pitch & zoom freely.

I love modding now that I have finished my first playthrough (135 hours). The downside is, I cant get some of the mods to work. Anything that doesn't take zipping, does not work. So that's a lot of mods. I cant figure it out. It's driving me crazy.

I love the outfits, but for some reason the outfit that I've equipped doesn't show at all (Bhaalist Armor) and I really want to have my character wear this because it's so gorgeous. The active mods I have are, Tav's Hairpack, Honour, EotB Main - EyesOfTheBeholder, DiceSet_06, ASTRL Haircolor Overhaul, Scantily Camp Outfit, Half Demon, Half Demon - Wings, and Whispers of the Divine: Aasimar (Race). Plus for some reason I can't change the eye colors at all, they just want to stay black or white. If anyone can help it would be appreciated 🙏

I love mods yes I understand it adds so much replay ability to the game and adds so much more to the game but it takes away the creative side of baldur's like how are the devs supposed to add new stuff when mods out there already did it and with console especially they haven't got access to mods and if the devs say add new hairstyles or outfits or wanna add more levels or new weapons spells and more then how can they when modders have already created them and essentially the mod authors if they see that the devs have added the same stuff they have then the modders would get upset and angry I've seen it happen with tons of games and yes I do love using mods but genuinely it just doesn't seem fair to the devs for future updates to the game especially on console because all the creative ideas have already been done by modders which I think shouldn't be allowed unless the devs have outright said yes you can make mods but we will if we like them add them to an update later down the road and yes I know pc has over 800 thousand players but console has millions and that's were the real player base is not pc and with console not having access to mods it isn't fair on the console players and I know someone is gonna get heated and complain and say we'll they should get a pc.... You realise a pc costs thousands compared to a console and console is why the game is actually so frigging popular like I said millions of players I think like 60mil and yh 800k on pc I'm just saying modders need to either calm down or accept that there mods will probably one day be a new update for console or the general game in as a whole.

Definitely play the base game first, then once you've played through all the Acts and gotten the final scene. Go back in with the 5e mod

Thank you for not listing any mods that insert broken custom races or basically let you break the game to cheat to make it easier, like party limit begone or the types of mods that let you play out all scenarios so you can do it in one run. I get the existence but those aren't mods made for people who enjoy the game, it's for people who want to Tav their cake and eat it too. Right now so many of the nexus mods just feel like shortcuts around decison consequences they didn't like the outcome to, still want the perk without the actually narrative drawback. I'm trying unlock level curve now and think if you pair it with fast XP only to level 6, you can set yourself up to not be too broken by the mid game. 5E spells are good but having them now makes me understand why some aren't in the game.
