It’s both hilarious and kind of cute that Liara mostly just teases and trolls Tali by showing that she knows or can easily get to know anything, including the most personal info possible, but also doesn’t bring up anything that can really be humiliating or harmful for Shep-Tali relationships. She’s obviously jealous, but they are still both her close friends and I’m sure Blueberry despite her jealousy is glad that they are happy together. Really heartwarming, in fact.

Just if they were to program heightened emotions and non rational thinking into it. For example if you select certain members on a mission and made certain choices in the past, the outcome could be wildly different. If you cheated on Liara with Tali and you decided not to help her become Shadow Broker and then took Liara and Tali on the Geth Dreadnought mission, at some point Liara would kill you both and blame it on the Geth. Mission fail. I guess this would be along the lines of programming real consequences to your choices into the game. Super tough to accurately program I think but I personally would find it fascinating.

There's easter egg joke about this in ME3, on Citadel you can encounter background female Quarian and male human, she will complain to him about some guy. He's simping and much to his horror she mentions she doesn't need BF because she installed "nerve stimulator". For some reason I found this interaction funny, especially because you can actually miss it, as there's no cutscene, they are just having dialogue in background if you get close to them, so you can actually miss it or overlook it.

I've just recently finished playing the ME trilogy and started looking for videos about this awesome game and found this. I'm amazed to see that people value Tali so much over the other romance options, I chose to romance Tali while I was still in ME1 ( even though it was not possible by the time) and for some mysterious power I couldn't/ didn' want to change to any of the other romance options, even though they were very very tempting. I guess the voice actor for Tali is part of the reason, and there's also the fact that we don't get to see Tali's face till ME3 so I think the mystery around how she really looks like makes her more appealing than the others. Like, she already seems to be pretty under the mask, but not knowing how she really looks like just adds to her charm.

You can get this dialogue without cheating on Liara too. I romanced her in Part 1, didn't romance in Part two and ronanced LIara in Part 3 again. Tali romances Garrus if you don't do in Part 2, and than it has the same effect: Had this dialogue in two playthroughs^^

I never romanced Liara (Ashley then Tali all the way) yet I think I saw this. Also Liara knew Tali had a crush on Shepherd in ME1. Also Garrus jokes on Liara when you see a creature same race as the previous Shadow Broke by saying he thought it called her name. XD I love the 4 original aliens

I actually really appreciate that Liara only gets more blunt as the series progresses. Her arc is arguably the best in the entire trilogy for me next to Garrus’ arc of basically becoming his own brand of hero very similarly to how Shepard does. But Liara’s is different, her arc almost explicitly pushes her to be more ruthless time and time again until by the end she’s basically just like Benezia but good.

Its stupid because you don't even know what nerve stim pro is in Mass Effect 2, until this vague dialogue in it's sequel. Even after, we still don't know what exactly it is, just assumptions, and that Tail is reluctant to talk about it. However, prior to 3, nerve Stim could have been anything.
