Dying Light 2, But The Floor Is Lava. Can we make it across the map without touching the ground?Today, I invited my friend Rocambasco to play some Dying Light 2 with me and we tried to see if we could make it from the top left corner of the map all the way down to the bottom right without touching the ground. The rules are: no touching the ground under any circumstances, no paraglider, buildings are ok, cars are ok, and any little items like street lights or fences are ok. Is this actually possible or are we just going to get stranded in the first two minutes? Let's find out.

I love how there's a system for grip capacity which is realistic, yet they can jump from a 30 story building and they suffer no fall damage 10/10

I feel like this video highlights a huge missed opportunity on the part of the devs. An actual unlockable "Floor Is Lava" difficulty. It's something I never thought about but now it seems so obvious.

@@orrgroup9928 as fun as it would be, this is completely true, and it wouldn't make sense to have the floor is lava as a difficulty since, as you said, cutscenes and boss fights happen on the floor.

I remember seeing the gameplay trailer of this and everyone said the combat was wonky and the game felt like it was in 0.75 speed and I agreed, but after taking the time to watch this video, one thing I’ll say is I’m blown away by the insane detail of this open world

@@passwords6189 still, killing enemies with melee on DL1 was a chore and guns were basically the only good way to kill demolishers, so removing guns from dl2 was a dumb decision imo, i hope there's a mod to put guns in the game

If you made it as far as the game will allow (without buildings close enough for you to cross) then I would say you succeeded in your task, if the furthest you could get was still in the city I’d call it a failure but looking at the map it doesn’t look like there’s really anymore buildings which would mean you went the furthest you could go and it’s still basically right on the edge.

The most fun I have had in this game came from a glitch where the entire ground level just disappeared so if you tried to land you would fall into nothingness not sure how I did it but it was cool
