@@JStew610 I personally work hard during each of my workouts. I’m fit and have been a health and fitness enthusiast for most of my life and I’m 51. This was a great workout but it could actually be easy for some, depending on fitness level. I did a different cardio workout for my cardio day yesterday that burned over 700 calories. It was more intense than this one for ME. Also, no stopping/breaks. That also makes a difference. Remember, calorie burn will differ from person to person, gender to gender, day to day, workout to workout-- and some likely don’t have reliable/quality heart rate/calorie monitors/watches. I also believe larger people and men burn more in general. Re: monitors, I once had a monitor years ago,that I wore around my chest during workouts, and it would say I was burning over 1000 calories for any workout I did but those around me were burning half that going just as hard in the class. I knew something was off, so purchased a more accurate monitor to compare, and I was correct. The first monitor was way off. And yes, you are correct, lower calorie burn can sometimes mean the person didn’t put as much effort into it but burning 400 calories in an hour isn’t bad actually. Still a good workout/cardio.
