Dan, thank you so much. I just got done binging all of your Ninjago series, from 2014 to 2019 I’ve been enjoying your videos and they’ve become a massive part of my childhood, teenage years, ect. I remember watching Curse Of Morro back in 2015, thinking it was the coolest thing ever that “someone made a custom Ninjago season?!” Nearly a decade later, here I am. Sitting in my basement rewatching old Ninjago animations just so I can relive parts of my childhood. I would never comment, but I remember every time you would have a comment question, I would write it down on a sheet of paper in a notebook. I can’t find this notebook, but I remember it being full to the brim with answers. Not only was your series very influential on my childhood, it’s also just utterly fantastic. (And yes, while some of the earlier plot points are a bit cheesy, I found the later ones to be spectacular.) My favorite season was always Realm Wars, before I switched it over to New Creation when that one came out. New Creation is a masterpiece, no doubt about it. It’s an excellent story with emotional hits, with enough action and jokes to balance it out. Father and Son is when I stopped recognizing this series as “just an animated Ninjago fanfiction”, and started seeing it as something much more. That’s when I realized that Ninjago could be dark, emotional, and have adaptations of the source material that weren’t just some 10 year old kid in their room writing a script. You created an actual story, a story that should be remembered. The amount of time and effort you put into not just Father and Son onward, but earlier seasons as well is absolutely phenomenal. You may not realize it, but tens of thousands of people, if not more, feel the same way I feel about this. I have so much nostalgia directed towards this series that whenever I watch an episode from it, I can nearly pinpoint down the exact moment it came out. I remember one day I was at swim team practice when an episode of Realm Wars came out, I rushed home just to watch it. I don’t know why I recall that memory so fondly, I just do. I remember an episode of New Creation came out when I was in school, I snuck into the school bathroom to watch it after finishing work. I have so many fond memories revolving around your series that it’s honestly awesome. You’ve created something I love. No, something I cherish, and yet again, here I am. Sitting in my basement on a hot summer night, reminiscing on moments from my childhood. You made my childhood so much better. And now after rewatching your series, you’re making the teenage years the littlest bit more bearable. Thank you, Dan. Thank you for creating something that can still manage to make me happy even today. And just because I never had time for comment questions, I’m gonna answer the question from my favorite episode, New Creation episode 3, “The Moon Samurai”, the comment question was “Would You Rather Be a Fully Trained Samurai, Or a Fully Trained Ninja?” A fully trained Ninja, thanks for the best Ninjago series of all time. This episode was so pretty, the cinematography was spectacular. I also really like how you incorporate elements from the new sets, it’s very organic and also a nice nod.
