Dan! I was on my first ever A380 yesterday, DXB-BKK and it was great! It really is true that the A380 makes a difference! Economy class on Emirates is also the best I’ve ever been on. When I’m going home we’re gonna sir on the upper deck, in economy!

You can also fly this using avios, if you book a reward flight on BA, to a destination that Qatar sells first class tickets to. This works to DUbai- for some reason, you cannot book "business" on qatar on the ba website- instead you can book either Economy or First. So for example, select a date in Nov/Decc 2025, and search for reward flights between LHR and DXB. I found an option for outbound Qatar First class on the A380 (business seat DOh-DXB), and Qsuite on the way back, for 112,500 avios and around £600. It's a steal, especially if you buy avios buy boosting.
