I have had gold dust appear on my hands without anything coming out of the ceiling. I have also experienced God's presence without any music, without any other person being around. If you think you have a relationship with God without experiencing his presence, you're very ignorant of his word. Just because signs and wonders are faked doesn't mean real ones don't exist. However, if the heartbeat of his whole motivation is cessation then I’ll be sorry.i was in Long Beach CA and met a college professor and gave him a word of knowledge out of the blue about how I hadn’t seen my father for 5 years but God had restored our relationship. Cessationism is not core to Christian faith, it is second tier theology. The Gospel is the core which has primary importance! (Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) A Cessationist and a Continuationist can both still be brothers in Christ like John Piper and John MacArthur because they both agree on the Gospel (the core fundamentals). But the problem with Continuationism is that it can attacks the sufficiently of scripture (a core fundamental) through false prophecy (prophecy that does not come true). It is no surprise then that most present day heresy sits under the banner of Continuationism.

It's sad that that happened and unfortunate that some ministries have manufactured fake signs and wonders, unfortunately, it happens. However, I have experienced the glory and the gold dust many times and it was not glitter from Hobby Lobby. I've seen glory clouds many times. I've seen oil manifest on people, particularly on hands. My ex-boyfriend was a worship leader and oil would appear on his hands when he played piano. It was not there at other times. He was right in front of everyone so he could not fake that. There were times gold dust appeared on us when we were worshipping and we were not in church! It would show up on our face, chest and hands mainly. .My friend was in a special speaker's service in a Colorado hotel and saw someone's hair turn from gray to their natural color and saw someone supernaturally lose weight, they had to fix her pants so they didn't fall off. Witches gave their lives to the Lord in that service. Signs and wonders produce salvations and a deeper relationship with the Lord. It's not a joke or a trick. I'm sure you are both very intelligent and educated men. I'm sad that you have had the spirituality and childlike belief in God and expectation that He still does healing, signs and wonders educated right out of you. Some things are beyond education and natural understanding! Please do not speak of that you have no knowledge or experience of. Praying that God reveals Himself to you.

What books did Jesus write in the Bible? He did miracles. What scriptures did Philip's four daughters write, all prophetesses. What of the 12 men in Ephesus Paul led to the Lord. Months later, completely cured. I see her and her family and she's been healed ever since with no cancer. If you don't know of real miracles, start asking people in real life. Not everyone is cured of everything, obviously. Even people who do a lot of healing don't heal everyone, which they freely acknowledge. But to say it doesn't exist is nonsense.

Reallly? This is an interesting rant. Tell me where in the Bible I can find reference to gold flakes falling from the ceiling or sky. When you provide this reference (chapter-verse-context) I will then have a conversation with you about it. One problem though- you will not find it. As to Cessationism- you need to define exactly what gifts you are referring to. As some gifts still exist while others do not. For instance- tongues had its purposes in the apostolic age. Its goal was to give the gospel to all nations in that nations own LANGUAGE… Not in a gibberish, confused chaotic tongue. If you agree that God is a God of order and NOT chaos or confusion then you must agree that the use of tongues as we see it in churches today is not from a God of order. There are all kinds of sinners embedded in churches. There are people think themselves lofty and wise unto themselves without and understanding of doctrinal soundness- who are in fact as much as a sinner as that “Satanist” or “witch” that you claim are imbedded in the church. Quite honestly, the best place for these sinners is in a Bible believing, Bible teaching church- maybe the truth of God’s word will turn their hearts. Its funny to me that you desire checking on this story but you fail to check on the truths of the Bible rather you FEEL that God must be “experienced” in order that a person knows Him. We know God through His word- which apparently you do not read much of. As to tongues- There was two distinct periods wherein God first confounded language in order to divide or gave the ability to speak languages to unite. First, at the Tower of Babel. God confounded the languages because mankind was disobeying His command to fill the Earth. Mankind huddled in one specific area, speaking one language… God confounded their tongues in order to force them to move away from that common geographical area and fill the Earth. Then after Pentecost- and after Jesus’ promise that the gospel would be taken to Jews and gentiles alike- there was a need to have people of differing tongues and languages hear the gospel. God allowed the APOSTLES to be able to speak in languages that they were never trained in, in order that those of differing lounges received the gospel. After you have done that, research the Greek word “glossolalia”. I will tell you it means “tongues” or “languages”… I will also tell you as it refers to the Apostles, it refers to the fact that they were given a gift to speak up to 15 different LANGUAGES. The mere fact that Biblical scholars can count the number of languages they were able to speak lends credence to the fact that they were actually speaking known languages and not a bunch of gibberish. In early church history- from the 2nd century to the 19th century there is NO discussion of the use of tongues in any church argumentation, council’s, or commentary… WHY?... Because it ceased. The current era of tongues was only brought about by a man named Charles Parham just before the turn of the 20th century. So- if this particular gift was carried past the apostolic age- why is their NO mention of it from the second century through the 19th century? Furthermore, I cannot help but to think that you do not study your Bible- The indicator for me is your reaction to the “devastation” of your family… Jesus admits that his truth will divide families… yet you act surprised. A person who studies their Bible would not be surprised at this… Luke 12 records Jesus’ words to this very topic: “Do you think that I came here to bring peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. From now on, five in one household will be divided: three against two, and two against three. They will be divided, father against son, son against father, mother against daughter, daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” What divides families? Truth…. Some people would rather have their ears tickled and have “experiences” in a church… they want to see “signs and wonders”… Never paying attention to the signs and wonders already given to them in the SUPERNATURAL work of God in His written word. The Bible changes people from the inside out. It heals the broken hearted… it gives strength to the weary… It gives hope to the lost… It teaches, corrects, exhorts and rebukes… Why is it necessary to seek other “prophets” when all we need to know about God, His character, our own character, salvation and life is written in His holy word?.... I asked for permission from Todd Friel himself and he answered I could use his content, so he has no problem with it. I did use my own content but I bought a laptop and it didn't have windows movie maker on it, so I stopped using my own content which was audio. For windows movie maker to buy would be over 200 dollars when before it was for free. I have quite a few things I would like to talk about and upload to youtube but that is not worth it for 200 dollars plus other people do a better job than me in teaching.
