Had this for a few months and love it. This wont support the next gen gpus coming out but my rtx 3080 ti will be good for years. I also got the msi ge76 12th gen qhd laptop and love it too. I recently got the oculus quest 2 but working 74 hours a week and havent had time to get it up and runnin. I got this for my dcs and il-2 flight sims as well as flight simulator 2020. Probibly dont need it if not doing flight sims.

Nice review, and I love the stick! I'm in the market right now, and this machine is at the top of my list right now. I'm a 30+ year primarily Mac user, and I'm switching to PC full time because I need a new computer and Apple is going in a direction I simply cannot support. Put short, I feel like Apple is taking advantage of their customers, especially their long term customers, by capitalizing on their brand equity through the release of simultaneously unprecedentedly expensive and terrible products. I wanted to build a PC, but the component costs are still a bit high. Plus, I've found a good deal on a 45L, so I think I'll go this route instead.

@@LifewithDimeji I was able to pick up an Omen 45L with an i7 12th gen cpu, RTX 3080, 16GB of RAM for about $1700 from HP's website during their recent Labor Day Sale. I was also fortunate enough to get a HP U28 4K 28" color calibrated monitor for about $300 from Amazon. It's 60Hz, but I use my machine primarily for content creation and photography, so that's not a problem for me. HP had a good deal on their Omen 27i 1440p 144Hz monitor ($379, I think), which would be better for gaming. I think the monitor deal is still on the HP site, but the computer deal is not. You can also buy the case by itself on the HP website to do your own build. Regardless of how you go, watch for a sale, especially now that GPU and CPU prices are falling. You might even get a better deal that I did! I would have waited a bit if I could have. Good hunting!

@@kasimirmaser99 like I said I’ve always used Apple but after coworker keep talking g about a gaming pc, my nephew also had one and my friend also showed me his gaming set up I’ve been all in. Steam seems pretty cool for gaming and also I think this might also be good since I so photography. I’ll look out for a deal.

Honestly the only thing I wish it had that it doesn't is a few more high speed USB ports and another full size PCIe slot, maybe a water cooled GPU version would be cool.

Couple weeks ago I purchased the 45 l with the eforce RTx 4090. So far I'm loving it, the boot up time is incredible, I had put the fans and turbo mode and it is still extremely quiet. I have an edited any 4K videos yet but I'm looking forward to doing this.

@@jinsu0504 There is always a bottleneck between the GPU and a CPU, anything below 5% is fine. I think that your config won't have any bottleneck at all

I just got the first hp omen 45L with ddr5 ram and the rtx 4090, intel 13900k. It is amazing, my temps run extremely cool, the only thing i can knock it right now for is the wire management isn't good at all, actually its terrible lol. But other then that , escape from tarkov on ultra settings doesn't even get my pc much out of idle temps. this thing is a beast

Of course the performance is top. Look at the GPU and CPU! But what about the rest? What timings on the RAM for example? What about the memory and it's speed? ( I know HP uses SSDs, but at what speed and other conditions?) Do they undervold (limit) the CPU and why? Of course I can play the newest games and SC with that machine. But that isn't a review. What about other games, other use-cases? Srsly, this was not a review. This was advertising!

After 6 months of use I really love the pc but as you said about the motherboard, the BIOS is like a kindergarten version of a real bios, like a stupified version lmao, the lack of things I can change and affect is laughable, they didn't even include the option to change the C-states....like you said, if they put any other top brands motherboard in there the pc would have a instant glow up.

Bro you bought the cheap version of it I have 16 usb entry’s! The pc is a beast can run every game on maximum settings no problem paired with a 144hz ultra wide Asus Rog Monitor and yes my cpu don’t heat above 49 degrees Celsius

@@Lawbloxy You can replace everything in that case. HP keeps you up to date with the latest BIOS automatically. When you replace the motherboard just use the latest motherboard BIOS

Yep perfect machine for that for years to come. As for multiple monitors you'll have to do more research as you have been entirely large range of options. I personally use a lot of HP Omen monitors.

@@cluso4 well the best advice I can always give is to choose a motherboard based on your actual use case. Look around for the I/O that you need, USB port speeds, ethernet speeds, Wi-Fi type, m.2 storage capabilities, etc... I hope this helps.
