This gives me an idea: Build 2 tracks. Track A and track B are exactly the same, both with a shortcut, but the only difference in the tracks is that the booster in the shortcut on track A is slightly more powerful than the one on track B, so track A's shortcut is possible but track B's shortcut seems possible but isn't. Then, pretend you forgot to record the first track, and everyone will have found the shortcut and been practicing it. Then when you go to the second track, everyone will think they're just bad and can't get the shortcut, meanwhile you set an OK time taking the normal route but everyone else won't have set a time so you'll win.

Hey dapper: Suggestion: Make two nearly identical tracks, but on one track the cheese works and on the other it kills you and there is a different cheese. Play through the "cheese works" map, then at the end say you forgot to record, and then for the "retry" map play the second map.

You should make 2 identical tracks. Have them do one, tell them you didn't record then play the 2nd track. Difference is the short cuts are completely different.

Cosmo and Kan should also be recording - you could cut to their screen if they're talking about something interesting that happens. It would also give you a backup instead of rerecording

KAN and Kosmo already record from their point of view, and it shows nothing from Dappers view, unless they are "following" Dappers view on the track. At that point, we don't have KAN or Kosmo in the race. Did I miss a thing someplace where that can do done now days?
