Hope you guys know that in the 8-2 level before the hands u can swim underneath the ship until the end... saves some jumping time over the bullets and bombs... just keep tapping the b button to swim once ur underneath the ship....the more u know lol. If u have a frog suit u can swim under the ship easier

He's switching between tasks. If it makes you feel any better, though, nobody can. People who think they're good at it, just can't tell how badly they're doing at all of the things they're trying to do at once because they're doing too many things at once and are unable to monitor their performance in any. People who are good "multitaskers" are good at changing focus from one thing to another.

I've been playing games since I was two years old. My first console was the Atari VCS. I like watching speedrun videos, but I can't help but feel that they kind of suck the fun out of the games. I can't count the number of times I heard the speedrunners in this video say "I used the strat", and "I hate that level". I get that speedruns are a different beast from just playing the game casually, but damn, this is like a whole new level of clinical, apathetic, robotic gameplaying. Am I the only one who feels this way?

He can’t. The TAS uses left+right movements on the d-pad to save framerules at certain points. This isn’t possible on a regular NES controller. So I’d say the closest he could get is around a second behind TAS?
