Whenever I improve my time in this category I look at the splits and think it would be easy to improve it further. But I have learned that I'm just not consistent enough to make it as easy as I think it should be. That +34 split will motivate me when I return to this category I suppose. For now, I'm moving onto another game.

This is a speedrun. He would lose about ten seconds everytime. Had he gotten 3 stars once in this run but everything else happened the same way, he would not have gotten a new personal best time.

What does the bros next to the world numbers mean?

I number of hammer bros. you fight in some worlds varies. In some cases, you want to entirely skip certain hammer bros, and in other cases skipping a hammer bro in one world means you need to fight one in another world later to get a certain item. This makes the split times a little misleading, so I include this count by the split to provide some context.
