I love how genuine Darby and Sting's relationship is. When they initially teamed up, I thought TK just wanted Sting attached to someone who'd make him look good and have entertaining matches with... So my first mistake was assuming Sting needed anybody to make him look good: this guy is doing insane things in the ring, and it's just exponentially more impressive considering his age and wrestling history. But to learn that these 2 athletes--wrestling generations apart from one another--have come together and carved out this incredibly unusual but also really fascinating space in the wrestling history books, each bringing their own innocence and experience to (and often through) the table... I just don't think we'll see another tag team quite like Sting and Darby Allin, and I'm really gonna miss this dynamic duo ❤

I don't care what anyone says aew is today's version of wcw and i think the icon sting saw that and was drawn to it that's one reason why he went to aew. So, i think him retiring in aew was perfect in every along with retiring undefeated and as a champion which is how a wrestling legend who is loved and adored by millions of fans is supposed to retire. It was the perfect ending to a legendary career tony khan's booking has been very questionable but one thing i do respect him for is how he booked the icon sting. So i will gladly applaud him for that 👏👏👏👏👏👏

The name Sting in pop culture here we go ! First the singer from great Britain Gordon Sumner who was the leader of the rock band called the Police. Then the super hero named Pete Stanichick who was the leader of the Harbinger comic book team. And then you have Steve Borden the professional wrestler. All three of them were and are WINNERS !

This is the first time watching Darby outside the ring. I was telling my co-host Bug Stu yesterday after our toy show that I had just watched 6hrs of the Sting and Darby AEW timeline yesterday morning before the show while working so that I could see all that they pair had done. I've been a huge Sting fan for decades and even have a toy figure. I told Big Stu that I see Darby as a young Jeff Hardy due to his style of wrestling as I am also a huge Jeff fan. So thank you for this interview both of you.

10:10 I agree with Darby i loved that AEW basically built the PPV around Sting final match and let him choose the time, place and opponents to retire Contrast that to 2019 when Kurt Angle announced his retirement and every single fan begged WWE to let John Cena be his final opponent to close the circle of his and Cena carrer, even Kurt and Cena said they wanted that match to happen but Vince for some reason that he only knows wasted that by putting Baron Corbin against Kurt and Cena in a segment with Elias wasting a huge feel good moment for Kurt and the fans,
