Perfection. When he is done with the rock phase, assuming he doesn't blow out his chords in the meantime, he could cross over to more mature genres and be one of the top concert attractions in the world for a long time. Broadway, pop, standards, classical -- his voice covers it all, and his training his obviously superior. And he connects with the music. Total package.

Adam Lambert and the media have officially confirmed that he will be appearing on Broadway in Cabaret as the Emcee from September 16th, 2024 through the end of March 2025. If you plan to buy tickets, you need to make sure to check the schedule to make sure Adam Lambert is singing on that night, there are nights and matinees where the understudy willl replace him. I know the current Emcee and Sally get one day a week off from the show so as a buyer you need to be aware of that so you don't spend your money on a singer that you aren't interested in hearing. I'm so happy that voice is finally Broadway bound. I heard him live at The Venetian, he's amazing on video, but in person his voice is incredible.

I can never hear this without strong emotions coming to the surface. I first saw "Brigadoon" as a senior in high school when I was visiting Staten Island, where I moved after graduation. I left Staten Island after only seven months, but always regretted it. This song reminds me of my attempts to fit in, though people thought I was strange because I was a southerner from Tennessee. In the words of Dickens: "It was the best of times and the worst of times." I loved Staten Island and always will.

Came over to this thread just to read the comments, and I agree with Mchapman71 and Gekko. I could tell, when watching "Idol" several years back, that Adam was a pro. This song proves it. Look up his performance in "Wicked". He was the understudy for whoever was the lead, but my daughter saw him perform instead and couldn't stop talking about him. Then she saw him on American Idol the following year. He has extensive vocal and theater training from childhood and it shows. Both talent and hard work.
