Conventional history has it that on 30 Dec 2017, a Swede on /int/ posted the first ever ꜱoyjak. This is documented. However, a little-known piece of trivia is that he actually called it "ꜱoyak" in that original post, so I got curious about the first time "ꜱoyjak" was uttered. I expected it to be a few days later, you know, once the trend caught on. Well, turns out ꜱoyjak was first printed on the same day-30 Dec 2017-on both /s4s/ and /r9k/... ten hours BEFORE THE SWEDE'S POST. And not only that, but both posts essentially were saying that ꜱoyjak was /fit/'s own wojak variant (yet the word "ꜱoyjak" itself doesn't appear on /fit/ until 22 Jan 2018)
