Nah. That won’t happen here. But I would put money on DD being the MCU approved appearance in the next Spiderman movie. Which works well. They (DD/Spidey) have a lot of history in the comics and Wilson Fisk is the perfect villain for a more out of the spotlight Spiderman. It also ties him very much to NYC if he teams up with DD.

1:32 Marvel Studios was fine with Marvel Television doing what they did with Daredevil, Luke Cage and the others. In fact, they had movie rights to Daredevil since April 2013, but they never greenlighted an MCU Daredevil movie because they did not want to water down MCU Daredevil, they learned their lesson from the 2003 movie, they wanted to stay true to Frank Miller's daredevil comic books. The reason why Marvel went the tv show route with Daredevil is because they realized that since Daredevil is a street level superhero unlike Iron Man and the other guys, he should star in a low budget MCU connected tv show instead of a high budget MCU connected movie, to mirror the divide between the Avengers who only deal with "Avenger Level Threats", threats to the country, world and universe while Daredevil and other street level superheroes like him fight threats to their neighborhoods.

Assuming the new character really is Butch who's probably going to have to be adopted in order for this to work, I think I know the perfect way to bring Fisk's character full circle. If Butch kills Fisk later down the line, it'll prove that Wison really is just like his father and that the Fisk bloodline is cursed with violence.

The shot of Vanessa & Wilson at the table is really pushing the idea that Vanessa will die this season & Fisk will ask Matt for help avenging her. The painting's blood is a different pattern, one now directed towards Vanessa's side of the table.
