Kingdom's and Castles was genius. Needed a little bit of tweaking for replay-ability to keep it fun. difficulty, flow, and the way all the underlying mechanics relied on other fundamental mechanics was perfect 👌 I totally appreciated how you could walk away from the game, watch it work, and come back to it and still survive. If this is an improvement of all of that, then I would love to purchase it.

K&C was really fun. Agree with you that after playing a few maps, it gets very repetitive. So much fun building a massive defense of tall towers sniping raiders and dragons though!

Tutorial says Splat needs a lightpost. Splat says no I got this. 5 minutes later: 'It's really dark and scary there if only there was something I could do to make it better'.
@seankenny1742 жыл бұрын
it wasn't that you were not building in the area not "highlighted," but that you were building in an area not lit. (i.e. with "no lighting," in how the game put it). Thus, you need lamps to expand and build further out

You're very right, Splatty. People will eat just about anything when they're starving (ask your mom what a "Dachhase" is). Max Miller (Tasting History) has a couple videos on some mind-boggling dishes from the past. Spartan blood-soup comes to mind. And thank you, dude, for your videos. If it's any consolation, you getting up (and working) brightens other people's lives.

I love tutorials telling me how to move the camera or my character, I'd never figure it out if it wasn't for the tutorials!! ... not. Only person I could possibly think of is someone who's never played a game in their life, and is this the first game someone would play ever? Doubt it, hah. But to be honest, back in the day when I was younger there was not such thing as tutorials, instead when you buy a game they came with a game manual and if you wanted to or get stuck, you read the manual, and when you rented games from Blockbuster they often didn't come with the manual so you just figured it out. People have it easy these days :D. You also couldn't just search online for help, game manuals back in the day had a help line you could call, they would help give you hints to get past a stage of the game and may even give you cheat codes. Those were the days, companies these days have no such phone # to call for help, you just go on online help from the community these days, youtube, etc or maybe game has a forum or ticket system online. It's funny how things have changed. Though there is no way anyone has ever called them asking how to move the camera, i think people would rather just push every key until they figured it out rather then call.
@o-mangaming50422 жыл бұрын
Plus a lot of games nowadays have remappable key bindings that you can look at in the options in order to learn. However, the tutorial starting with the very basics like camera movement is not a bad thing. IT stuff has to be as idiot proofed as possible because you can almost guarantee someone out there hasn't figured out even the basics yet. Ask any IT person. Even something as simple as turning on a computer's power has been botched by people before. Like someone calling about the computer not turning on in the middle of a blackout.

8:00 "The farmers are farming; the lumberjacks are harming (trees)". Well, you did work to make it rhyme. I'd have gone for pattern: "The farmers are farming; the lumberjacks are lumbering?" Sure it makes them sound a bit oaf-ish; but the alternative is far worse.
