@@roubaromeucarneiro5144 if the rillaboom stays in and grassy glides the rotom he loses it and he needs it in the end to beat the milotic so he went for the safe play. Wolfe read that though and got the switch and that's what won him the game. If Wolfe got the read wrong he could have lost.

Wolfe got incredibly lucky in game 2, he knows the Amoongus has Colba berry and should know it would survive a helping hand max airstream, had he max flared, that game would have been over 3 turns ago w/o him needing to get both the burn on the Dragapult and call the Arcanine switch in.

The end of game one for James is what we all do at least once or twice honestly. Even the professionals over play or over think a turn when the easy play could win the game. He could’ve also miscalculated and thought he’d die in sand but he mathematically survives actually. We all make mistakes and it’s okay in the end.

Man, Baek played wayyy too conservatively. Game 1 he let Wolfe wittle down his mons till he had nothing healthy to dynamax, and game 2 it gave Milotic the chance to burn his pult. Slowplaying can work but not when your best dmax is frail and ur not getting down any damage reduction.

For those wondering why James attacked Dusclops in G1: had he attacked Tyranitar, Dusclops would've set up Trick Room, maybe it'd live with a Protect + grassy terrain recovery, Dynamax ends, and gets KOd by Night Shade. I'd think Max Phantasm still KOs Dusclops through Protect, but I didn't see his match analysis on this one just yet.

Game 1 did Wolfe throw them James threw back? I mean Wolfe protected ttar and James knocked out Wolfe's incin. A double attack from wolfe would have won him the game. Would that max wyrmwind have knocked out ttar next turn? Cuz then James would be 1v1 vs dusclops, and even if TR went up pult could survive a nightshade and finish off clops in 1 hit

It's not that. James read doble protect and that Wolfe actually gets it, in that scenario: Dragapult attacks Ttar but it survives so dusclops trick rooms and it would be 2v1 with speed in favour of Wolfey. He overpredicted.
