This is a perfectly legitimate attempt. The difference from the original is only that the channels did not go simultaneously from the synthesizer, but were recorded on several channels and mixed probably in a hardware mixer, that's what gives the punch.

Actually it's pretty dry and the pure Korg X3/X5 sound. I don't think there's anything similar.
