Just wanted to add a quick PSA about the use of candles in this video. I am in no way advising anyone to light candles in the way I choose to in my video. Candles were lit strictly for my shots and were blown out after. If you do choose to have candles in your home opt for flameless candles (this is what I use day to day) and if you do choose to have real candles, Please use with caution, do not leave candles unattended at anytime and keep them away from anything flammable.

Not yet 😅 But I'm working on it, I got a big wooden cupboard and a bedside table, and I practiced writing with ink. My room is already fully furnitured so I don't have like a blank template. I do have two ikea moppe bureau to paint and fix. 😁 I think it's really nice to write little quotes with ink and put up on the walls. 👍

I live alone in a five bedroom, 3000 sq ft house, so I have a lot of space to work with. While I fully agree with your interpretation of "dark academia," my aesthetic is both dark in its literary undertones and in its color scheme. You channel is inspiring me to get moving on it and be done with the new-construction all-one-color scheme. And I'm developing a "character" who lives here, partly real and partly fictional, to help me bring it all together. What a great concept.

I just discovered your channel and I love it! You use Alien tape quite a bit for hanging things. I bought some thinking I could use it to create a gallery wall, but the directions say not to use it on painted surfaces or it will pull the paint off and ruin the wall. Have you had that experience in any places you have used it?

WAIT WHAT!! I swear my packaging doesn't say that but yes it has ripped off paint and DRY WALL!!! When I used it on latex based paint it came off with no damage but when I put it on matte acrylic the dry wall came off with it. I've stopped using it entirely on my walls but I do use it for other things still

I must be a vampire because I am not into mirrors. But I have wondered about making a distressed antiqued looking mirror surface. Maybe sand paper the back around the edges or apply mirror to glass but over oilly edges or dime such to make the rims of the mirror more oblique or crackled or dome thing. Just my imagination. Maybe there is a way.
